Thanks for the help everyone. Brakes are now sorted and the car brakes with no problems and the stalling has stopped Another question... When I press full throttle (engine off) the servo goes full throttle then automatically brakes then returns to idle position...could this be to do with my failsafe?

Really stupid question but are the linkages the metal rods? lol

Will probably look into replacing the steering servo soon. Currently running through the break in process and the car keeps stalling under braking. When the car has warmed it will brake but then cut out if the brake is applied for more than 3 seconds. How can I resolve this? Also, the brakes don't appear to work as well as they should, how do i adjust the brakes? Thanks

Are the steering and throttle servo the same? Cheers mate, will have a look into that.

I have recently bought hyper 7 and it's widely agreed the steering servo is rubbish (I also agree). I have seen the hitec 645MG being highly recommended, can someone please explain why this is and why does this have the edge over similar hitec models (or any other make)? Would a hitec 645MG be suitable for the throttle/brake servo aswell? Also, can someone post a picture of how the throttle/brake servo should be set up please? Would be much appreciated

Thanks too all the replies, after some thought i have gone with the Hyper 7 Black edition, due to the readily available parts (as this is my first car) and I really like the design. Hoping to take it out for the first time on sunday

Cheers mate, i've purchased one which has just arrived as well lol hoping to take it out the weekend. (i'm new to all this too). Can somebody tell me how often the filter needs oiling and i heard somewhere that wd40 is ok for after run oil? is this correct? Cheers, Ben

On the hyper 7 does the air filter come already oiled or does the oil need to be purchased before running for the first time?

For the Hyper 7, which failsafe would you recommend? Does it even matter on the make? Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance. (BTW thanks for all the help so far)
