My mcd xr5 max pro turned up this morning, massive thanks to Mike Taylor at Taylor rc for the deal, the quality of these things really shows compared the Losi, Hpi, Fid and king motor offerings Iv owned in the past. 

[Looking for someone to custom spray an rc bodyshell??]

As above I’m looking for someone who sprays rc bodies? I know shark fat used to do them but after looking on Facebook it seems he no longer does them. Is there anyone else in the uk who still does this? Got a nice Mcd bodyshell that I want painting and just don’t trust myself.

After becoming really bored of rc in general and almost giving up, this Hobao hyper ST has given me the bug again, think I’m sticking with just nitro now😂

Popped into wheelspin to grab a new charger, left with an extra £200 spent on maxx alloy bits😂😍😍

really nice kits to build im enjoying them and got another one for after this one, gotta build the shield and gun next i think and then the massive booster pack 🙂

 

got some tamiya sprue cutters coming later today and gonna buy some fine tip model tweezers for the transfers 🙂

 

Nice to see someone else Into Gundam models, those real grade kits are one of my favourite, perfect amount of movement and detail over the high grade models. Have you tried a master grade or perfect grade yet?

stampede 4x4 today, didn’t particularly want one but it was a billy bargain and advertised very local to me.

And the ST carried on as if nothing happened 

Did the Kraton suffer any damage ?

kraton had a broken front bumper and body shell, I think another 10mph on impact and the outcast would have become a shrapnel bomb tbh😂😂

hit my friends kraton 6s head on both going flat out, it pretty much destroyed the 4s outcast. The longer I look at it the more bits I’m finding broken, so far the list is. Chassis, esc, front shock, centre driveshaft, front bumper, radio box, servo, steering rack, battery straps, the 4s lipo that was in it at the time has become a banana too so that’s not useable again😅😂

Replaced the broken chassis on the outcast 4s today, as I was stripping it down I noticed the servo and radio box had also been damaged so more parts to order now…

Outcast 4s chassis snapped in half today, no fault of the trucks though. Hit head on into a kraton 6s both going pretty much flat out.

Some prototype diff output shafts to test out for lee at custom rc upgrades…

Took the outcast 4s for its maiden run. Awesome bit of kit, absolutely nuts on 4s

It’s been a while since Iv bought a brand new basher, sold a few tamiyas over the past couple of weeks so I treated myself😍😍

Built my tt02r today, quick maiden run on the driveway just to check it’s all good ready for Bedworth rc club this weekend. Entering the rookies class, first time at an on road rc club.
