can also confirm these are great servos for the money i have a handful of them and for the cost you really can't get better!

They better be guys, I've ordered 2. There used to be a time I'd turn my nose up at anything not Savox, Rhino or Hitec 🤣 Not this time though, cheap and cheerful!

  2. Hi guys,

I've been out for a few years now so my knowledge is a little foggy.

I'm looking for servos for my 1/8 buggy and wondering which ones to get, nothing too expensive please 😅.

I've been looking at Hobbyking Servos, seem to have good reviews but are they worth it?

    Thanks all.

  3. Morning!

Long story short, years ago I did a full circle consisting for Nitro, petrol and then BL so I'm not a noob as such.

I've been given this buggy and had it identified as a Kyosho MP7.5 (thread:

My question is, what is parts availability and cross compatibility like, I'm after a screw kit primarily at the moment. Where do you get your parts?

    TIA,

thats an MP7.5, with the GX21 engine ... ive got one myself.

yours looks like an early ' sports ' model, with the white body

the only difference, i can notice, from mine, is it has the elbow neck exhaust manifold, and canister type air filter.

edit : i just noticed its missing the front chassis brace bar.
i believe thats normal, for the early models tho. they were only fitted with a rear bar, like yours.

Awesome thanks for the ID, is it worth fixing up?

I've been out for a few years having done a full circle involving nitro, 5th scale and brush less.

  5. You've only broke the bolt, just remove and sell the shaft on or use has a spare. Left hand threads are a little easier to remove. But after 4 years I doubt you'll need a spare, good of abbots though after that amount of time to replace.

I plan to and then give it to dad if I can find a bolt to fit as the manufacturer is no longer trading, I'm hoping the kraken one is the same thread, but I don't really have time to faff around, leaving for bashfest in 3 weeks! :o

It wasn't an FOC replacement, but Jason sorted me out with a good price.

  6. Guys, i need some hard tires for my Losi 8-te, i'd like a harder compound to try and stop ballooning and preferrably something that will also last.

Also need some decent wheels, ones which won't strip out when bolted to an overpowered 8-t...

Also, what is the best way to tape foams and what with?

    Any suggestions and links?

  7. We all know that clone parts are inferior, there is no other way to describe it.

Original manufacturers make them cheap in order to allow them to sell them at a profitable price, cloners make them cheaper allowing them to sell them cheaper. Cheaper materials = inferior.

It's not a debate as far as i am concerned, anybody who puts clones on par with originals  must be deluded.

Has no one ever seen The Sixth Day?
