    What size does the hole need to be on the ball of the rose joint gonna make some phone calls tomorrow see if I can get any left handed rose joints anywhere for Friday delivery

    Brought studding and it won't screw into the wish bones as thats the oppersite thread :-( loosing my patients with this bloody thing now

    Right spoken to pawn racing and they said I have right handed ones and I need left handed but the don't stock them and that they are rare and nearly double the price :-(

    Yea the thread seems to be fine size wise as when I put the other end in it flies in but when I put the stud into the wish bone the rose joint wont screw on should all 4 be handed the Sam tho

    Right ordered parts from free pawn really nice fella called Nigel got parts today spent 3hrs stripping rear wishbones of and cleaning to change the ****ed plastic rose joints for steel ones and not one of them fits as the thread seems to be wrong :-( :-( alloy rear wish bones and none of the rose joints fit :-( any ideas as it seams the threads are wrong

    Tbh it seems to have sorted itself now :-) ill see how I get on the only issue I have now is cogs seem to be binding ie a little to tight but the strange thing is its on the gear carrier not the diff so don't know what I've done wrong their but tbh other then some resistance it runs fine just a little noisy even put a little grease on the cogs to help them interlock a little easier

    I was rather lucky as I didn't use loctite so a gentle tap with a hammer and screwdriver freed it up in the shaft then with a serious amount of pressure slowly undid it :-)

    Alloy rose joints for the rear am I right in thinking I need 8mm and what's this male female thing all about I need the studding that goes between the wishbone and rose joint this is rear only so 4 in total Steering arm guessing the are rose joints for the servo saver as mine keep popping of so probably warn out If I can I'd like blue again are these 8mm Alloy side body posts 4 in total all for my fg and I'm after new thanks guys

    Right took it out for a bash and it needed a slight tune but when going my fg baja when pulling away is more like a moped pulling away ie no wheelie or wheel spin then when it's going say 15-20 it will wheelie well try too lol and will power slide/wheelspin but not from a standstill pic of said car ;-) running de-choked carb jet pro and a mgt 27.2cc fully tuned engine

    I need to know if that's the reason it's doing what it's doing 1st as I'm not sure that I have but revving up and not really moving unless I pick car up of floor then wheels light up well half throttle anyway

    What would happen if you put a clutch on the wrong way round as I've just changed engine and put an 8k clutch on and it's not running right

    Cheers mate I actually have a crank with piston etc attached but really wanted the car on the road this weekend :-( don't have the tools to change crank plus I'd need a whole new gasket set :-( and the engine is basically new :-( :-(

    No deffo can't get at it as its half way down the shaft could I drill out or weld it

    Oh cheers matey as fare as I know there just run of the mill bearings just saw some crap stuck to them by no means seized tho just wanted to do whatever I could to prolong the life of them lay shaft and clutch bell housing ones mainly

    What's best to use for cleaning bearings etc before I rebuild are there any do or donts and can I just use car drive shaft grease or is that to heavy for the bearings am I right to just push some grease into the bearings too

    Tbh the scratches are very very little on the carb side of the bore but you can just feel them if you scratch your nail on them
