Unless your running in competitions I would forget the Droops and Poops, hight ride/shock oil viscosity/center of gravity/adding weghts/shock springs/what you have to do is find whats the best for steep inclines suited to you,my tip would be find your happy medium all mine are set up fine now for rock crawling/flat running and steep inclines...

Most out of the box crawlers will take on  medium inclines.....

Last thing is a good and I mean good tyers..

Got theses today for the mini crawlers  i didn't mean to order so many.  also had a good look in my  junk shed  and worked out i have a lot of wood from a couple of beds i took apart a couple of years ago.  also collected alot of tree branches & some trunks not to big.  so i just really need to  work out what to build  also need to see how wide to make stuff  so other cars can use it not just mine.

  4. Crawlers from the box are manufractured to crawl on rough ground and can cope with most sensible inclines its the user that chooses to go steeper, this then becomes a weight problem,I have used crawlers for a while now and find my solutions are climbing steep needs weight at the front more forward the weight the better but be aware of the decent on this set up,forget all these tech and numbers set up, at the end of the day your the driver get to know your limits, good luck and enjoy your crawling
