hi there people just bought myself a hpi savage x4.6 and heard peoples spur gears shreded real quick. if i put grease would it make a big difference. also what other problems to look out for with the savage.

ive only ever had one bad situation with a dog and that is when i was running my gv rex-x and sone guy let his pitbull off its leash. it started chasing my car i laughed at first but then it cut out and the got hold of it and shreded my body shell to pieces. i was real ****** off. the dog got hold of the engine block i think and ripped his tooth out.

looks great fun especially does little jumps. how long did it take to start after 2 months

hi there anyone know if there is going to be a replacment for the savage x4.6 for 2010. the reason i ask is im going to be buying a savage x 4.6 in the new year and wondering if its going to be worth waiting for a new one to come out. cheers lol

hello i was wondering about problems that peaple have had with these cars such as engine, electrical, drivetrain problems. i was also wondering about build qaulity and component qaulity. the reason i am asking is because people have been complaining to me about these 2 cars and i wanted to find the most comon problems for these and find a solution. i have been getting complaints about drivetrain electrical and engine problems. please do tell storys that youve heard or had your self. it will only take a moment to give me a reply and could save you many problems for future cars of this type from hpi. if you have minor problems that you need advise about then please mention them and i will do my absolute best to help. thank you all responses are greatly appreciated

help could spmeone tell me witch glow plugs to use

i had a on 1:10 car from nitrotek found it absolutley horid. and apparently no improvements ahve been made. he should get himself something fun and reliable

these cars are horibly made i wouldnt buy it if it cost a fiver. everything breaks on them and they have horrible engines that come with a list of problems. the same said for the electrics and most other things on them. my advise would be to buy a car thats properly enginered and well built and designed. dont buy it you will not be happy with. if you spend a bit more cash you will get yourself a realy decent machine that will last longer and is solidly made and has a nice engine. i am availible most of the day and if you would like to chat or need some help or advise choosing then your more then welcome.

losi micro baja there wicked and plenty off fun only problem is the stering rods like to bend and effect the steering quite badly

i would recomend a gv servo from a rex-x they are

i would probobley go for the one with the most mah no less then 1300mah

take out the four screws and very gently and slowly pull the piece out there will be a pin and maybe a little spring come out make sure you dont lose them. it may not be the one way bearing it could be the pin slipping. if you have a exploded diagram of your engine it will give you a much clearer idea of what im on about. if it turns out to be the pin then just turn it around and it should be ok. dont forget the spring first. if you dont want to buy a new bearing then get some rather thin sanding paper and make some scratches on the shaft. the idea off this is that the teeth things on the one way bearing bite in. it worked for. BEAR IN MIND THOUGH I DONE THIS DONE ON A REX-X SO IT COULD BE DIFFERENT ON YOUR ENGINE!!!!!!!!! HOPE THAT HELPS GOOD LUCK

hello everyone im going to be buying ither the hpi or the kyosho just dont know which one to for. i wouldl ike to know what problems people have had with them and what the pluses and minuses are. i was wondering about the fazers plastic chassis it puts me off. but then again the price puts me off the rtr 3 evo+. all views and reviews welcome.
