cheers mate batterys have never been looked after, motors hardly been since upgraded and dont want to be replacing parts so i guess its time to move on

how long do they last? got my lads old e-max out today, charged batterys took it out and lasted about 5 mins, they are 3000 nimh but are about 5 years old and prob not been charged for the past 3, also noticed truck was slow, got reedy bad maxx motors in it ( are they still made)? notice now that capacity on new batterys has increased quite a lot from 3000s ive got, as i intend to get savage flux would lipo be ok in e-max but still use bad max motors? or should i just bin the lot and move on? not saying e- max is bad just trucks have moved on since i bought it years ago.

thanks for info, battery size (physical) will get dealer to try them 1st, so now its the charger and none of the ones i mentioned appear to have a built in fan, will ring ms tomorrow

will do, might be no rc with it, but its got modified motors 2 speed controllers and is set up for 4w steer and 2 shells

might sell it< its only gathering dust

what happened to it? ive been away from rc for a while, just got mine back out, still as new, cant see anything that replaced it unless its still being made? cant see it on any websites

im gitting a savage flux when they come out and ive been looking at battery/chargers. came up with trakpower 11.1v 4900mah or trakpower 7.4v 4800mah batterys bantam bc6 or prolux digi-charge 104 or pro peak sigma do all these sound ok? what performance/duration difference between 11.1 and 7.4 batteries? as for the 3 chargers any body using them? whats your opinion on them? no hard and fast rule on above, if theres something better out there let me know, cheers
