  1. Not got an issue with OBR except for the price compared to the competitors and the price mark up that they put on the UK is horrendous.

Stock G320 for £220 + £115 ESP Championship ported head kit = One of the best engines money can buy and the OBR's are no more powerful for nearly double the price.

32 obr with billet crankcase are 335 delivered in uk at present

  2. i think thats a good idea, I think they're be plenty of demand for these! the cost seems very readonable especially with that case!! looks great.

once videos come through should start an obr 38 thread, alot of people will be lookng for info on this motor,.this one is a mishmash of everything lol.

on another note I think it should pull hard enough and plenty of torque to use a single gear set up .

would a 2 speed be able to cope on the 38? Ive never ran a 2 speed.

spnic, do these only fit in losi and bajas or will they go in a fg?

they should fit fg they fit mcds I will have some more in start of next week I will get some dimensions is how the billet housing fits fits the fg is only thing

  3. Wonder what sort of damage the obr 38cc or rcmax 70 would do on that.

    17/57

    21/53

    26/48

    ftw

Those gear ratios would just be on its roof... sure on a 38 u will start on a 21 pinion and a 26 on a 70 easliy.. 2 speeds can be fun depending how u run and what looking for I had one and on a long run become uncontrollable as the air under shell just lifted it and flipped the baja ...

  4. I'll probably get shouted at now because I don't 'own one' but those videos of that Jato Mike don't look particularly impressive :/

Yeah he has changed his gearing from 19/55 to 22/52 like anything all about the set up

  6. The normal pro pipes do work just not aswell as for the bartalone pipe should fit will just need to adjust the header needs bolt holes bigger and wider as these exhaust bolts are 5mm ... so can either do that or modify a header pipe to fit a bartalone pipe

  7. The 5.5 30 Prostock is what I have. Once I get all my spares in the post I'll also do a review of the OBR and compare the Thor (cpi clone pipe) and the VRC clone pipe to see which I and the Prostock like better.

I took the head off my OBR Prostock and I didn't really see much done to the ports at all. I can see where they worked on the exhaust a little bit, but all the ports look pretty much standard but with a light scuffing for fuel atomisation. But for the $240 I spent on it with the billet case I think it was a steal. Definitly couldn't find a better bang for the buck, so to speak.

If one doesn't like the chrome on the clone pipes, scrub it off with a wire wheel in a bench grinder and paint it black, or go with the raw look if that's what you like. Just remember to oil your pipe or it will rust lol.

I must viste more with u all nice people chatti ng about me lol

    .. hows things guys...

U are right the prostock are best bang for buck in there price range ... wait till u jump up to a full mod or a 38/40 cc longrod ...
