Many thanks both those tyres look spot on and in stock at modelsport! They're definitely the split 5 wheels but proving a little hard to source, might have to look for something similar
Cheers

Some nice pricing too, wouldn't be surprised if I get up buying one or two!
-
I'll be useless but certainly up for it!
-
It's too thick unfortunately. If the one ever puffed slightly you'd never get it out. Ordered a couple more of the zippy packs I was using before, fingers crossed on those.

Those lipos arrived today. One fits very snug, the other doesn't fit at all.
Also got the proline big joes on, they seem perfect!

Hi guys
After some upgraded knuckles for the mini revo/slash (1/16)
Bit of a long shot but RPM or hot racing items would be ideal
Cheers
-
They're huge!
Starting to grow on me though, how do they perform?
-
Cheers guys. Based off a number of people online using them and saying they fit fine I've gone with these from the UK warehouse

Finger crossing time. I might have to build another quad if they don't fit
Wanted to keep more of a monster truck look shell wise. Doesn't seem a huge amount around in the UK for the merv though. Has it died a death? I know it has problems but it's a decent and very fun truck I think.
Just been and run it on one of the older lipos I used for it many moons ago and it still goes well! Popped all the ball joints out of the hubs within seconds though so some RPM items needed I think.

Hi guys,
Realised yesterday that the mini revo would be perfect to take with me when me and my brother go to fly our quads and his plane.
Here she is as she stands:
I need suggestions for the following:
New batteries (2s and ideally turnigy)
New wheels and tyres (currently ones are totally shocking)
And a new shell (pre painted ideally)
Going to do a little test run later with one old 2s that is currently charging in the garden, because I don't trust it as far as I could throw it.
Any input greatly appreciated as I've been out of the car game for several years now
Cheers

Hi guys,
This might well be my fault, but I'm having trouble with the self level on my 450. When you set a low throttle and move the quad around by hand the motors that dip do speed up as you would expect. But in flight it doesn't level itself at all. Flying with self level turned off is exactly the same (flys a bit smoother actually), it stays at the same angle you leave it at on the stick, and I have to flick it a bit to pull level.
Gone though a few setup guides and videos and can't see a problem with settings. Could it be a faulty board?

Fin
Stickers aren't perfect, but are about a million times better than when I did my FJ CR01. Now to get it dirty, or keep it clean. Hmmmm....

Seems a rather unpopular option
Will stick as it is and hope for some calmer days

Back again!
Just been out for a flight with this and my brothers phantom 2, and I've decided I need GPS DJI was so so so stable in comparison. Is it easy enough to add to my KK 2 board? And does anyone know what I need?
Cheers

This was a big day for DJI indeed, as they announce new Phantom quadcopters utilizing the controllers and software systems of the Inspire. There will be 2 versions: the Phantom 3 Advanced with 1080p video camera/gimbal system installed, and the Phantom 3 Professional featuring a 4K resolution camera/gimbal system.
Besides using the DJI Pilot app featuring built in live-streaming capabilities, camera control, and practice simulator, the Phantom 3 series touts some nice features:
Easy to Fly
Live HD View
Dedicated Remote Controller
Powerful Mobile App
Upgraded Battery Charger
Vision Positioning for Indoor Flight

Just had a look at when I joined after seeing this. Jan 2009. Where does time go? Scary...

Chassis pretty much done:
Little MS order being made tonight for a battery pack, then just need stickers on the shell, which could take a while!

Yeah, they are very plastic fantastic
Doesn't feel low quality as such, but I could see how you could break or wear parts quickly if you were using it properly. Thankfully I don't think it'll ever cause me issue
-
Quite a bit of progress tonight
Shocks up next, might leave those until Saturday.
-
Lied a bit about it being "bone" stock. I am fitting an RCbearings kit, can't really be putting those plastic bushings in.
Here's tonights little bit of progress:
-
You get some "metal plated" parts such as the grille, bumper and wheels, and the tyres from the Tundra which look much better imo.
-
Mad progress made

Will be left bone stock yes. Got a tekin FXR for the ESC and will be using my DX3s radio. Need see what servos I have, think the TT01 has a good Tamiya one in it.

Hey guys!
Been looking at these for quite some time now and recently noticed that numbers were getting a little thin on eBay and such, so decided to bite the bullet and order one before it was too late!
Will be doing a bit of a build thread here, but time is quite limited at the moment with work and mates coming back from uni for Easter.
Here's the box to kick things off:
Will be building it up to run, but only occasionally indoors, don't want it getting messy
Hopefully have some progress by the weekend!
Cheers

Hi pieman, no way! Can't believe it's still about after all this time. I've special ordered another from modelsport now so won't cancel to save messing them about. If it turns out to not be available though I'll definitely be after it!
Hope you're keeping well? Let me know how much for the EDS stickers posted please, will definitely have them
