  1. Ok, cheers, pretty sure I've got it plugged in right Few snaps Just need to solder on the battery connectors and work out what settings to set my radio to and I can test it!
  2. Hopefully starting to build this sucker this weekend but there's one thing currently really bothering me. The Rx is marked: BIND BAT CH8 CH7 CH6 CH5 CH4 CH3 CH2 CH1 And the control board is marked: AIL ELE THR RUDD AUX What goes into what? And do I need to do anything in terms of power? There's a two pin header on the KK marked BATT, does that need to be connected to BAT on the Rx?
  3. I recently used hobbyking UK, awesome. If they've got what I want there's no way I'd use the international warehouse again.
  4. Quick frame mock up, I have no idea what I'm doing ahaha I think, think, the props are on right? Guess the control board will tell me which way it wants the motors to spin, then I just fit the props so they make lift in that direction. Family shot Another question, is there a colour that is supposed to be the front? haha
  5. It's all here aside from motor bullets Prepare for the questions

Budget? I'm using this Asus, so so good http://www.amazon.co.uk/Asus-RT-N66U-Wireless-streaming-Warranty/dp/B007W16SMO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1403674260&sr=8-1&keywords=n66u
  7. Went for these in the heat of the moment, guy in the reviews says they're good on his 450 http://www.hobbyking.co.uk/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=31207
  8. Right, banggood keep putting the motors back and I've had enough of waiting. I've found the frame and props on hobbyking UK, what motors can I use from them?

  10. Cheers for the offer, will see how the 10" ones go Still waiting for the dispatch of my frame and motors anyway, motors on back order and say expected 26th
  11. Never even looked at the UK warehouse on hobbyking haha Will stick some on order, think the props from BG won't be that great
  12. Couple of quadcopter based parcels Tx/Rx, control board, ESC's, lipos, male to male leads and heatshrink And something to get my eye in with Just waiting for the frame, motors and props from banggood Eeek!
  13. Just finally ordered a hubsan x4 v2, any way it can train me up a bit for the big one?

These Hong Kong orders are getting a bit strict of late used to clear no worriers

in france virtually no orders get through without tax !!! the customs service (douanes) have officers checking direct in the airport in roissy and all overseas orders must pass by that aeroport

  16. Will have a good read up, got a bit of time to do it No doubt I'll be filling this thread with stupid questions though. I've had enough times of cars shooting off to know to remove the props I would think a soft tyre is nothing compared to those blades.
  17. Got a big set of heatshrink on the banggood order and the male to male leads (x10) on the hobbyking order Will probably use bullets to start for ease of swapping over, but then direct solder when everything is set up Already have an iron and some decent skills, so that won't be a problem and my core RC charger will handle those lipos no problem
  18. It's all on order Gone exactly as above really, full list. 19. The ones that baorevo told me to http://www.hobbyking.co.uk/hobbyking/store/__4312__TURNIGY_Plush_18amp_Speed_Controller.html
  20. Current BG basket Anything wrong or missed from them?
  21. Also, do the motors include all the bits needed to mount the props?
  22. Would these be any good? Bit too big? http://www.banggood.com/Wholesale-Blade-1045-1045R-CW-CCW-Propeller-For-Multi-rotor-Copter-Quadcopter-p-66288.html http://www.banggood.com/Wholesale-Blade-1045-1045R-Propeller-For-Multi-rotor-Copter-Quadcopter-Aircraft-p-66394.html
  23. Cheers for that, just what I was after What props would I need with all that?
  24. Cheers guys, this all seems more complex than I thought Any decent RTF options out there to consider?
  25. Not too sure about this Been really enjoying my AR drone but want something with a proper controller. Thinking that building one could be a good option in terms of bang for buck. Looking for something around the same size but with a bit more lifting power for a gopro etc. Budget is around
