  1. Yer I want it to go as fast as possible, so can anyone recommend a good system to work with the dynamite battery? I am looking for 3.5 or 2.5t really
  2. So you mean run all 3 batteries at once? also what are peoples thoughts on that brushless system?
  3. So speed t with http://www.modelsport.co.uk/?CallFunction=ShowSpecification&ItemID=34312 motor system will work with: http://www.modelsport.co.uk/?CallFunction=ShowSpecification&ItemID=32880 with http://www.modelsport.co.uk/?CallFunction=ShowSpecification&ItemID=30776 http://www.modelsport.co.uk/?CallFunction=ShowSpecification&ItemID=32573 http://www.modelsport.co.uk/?CallFunction=ShowSpecification&ItemID=33379 as balancing and so I can charge 2 right? http://www.modelsport.co.uk/?CallFunction=ShowSpecification&ItemID=32196 for my car Wil this work? are they hard to deal with? will this system work?
  4. yes well I just feel the speed T is more what I am looking for. I had a rustler and didn't like it too much, but thank you for your advice, so I am most likely going with the Speed T so any chance of help on the charger front etc. Thanks, sorry I don't mean to be rude or anything.
  5. well like I said I think I will go with the speed T, just saves me fiddling around with nitro, I love it but atm I just don't have the time to keep 2 nitro's running and I have more experience with electric, so as I said above what do you think to that set up? and help with charger and balancer please, someone said to me that I need to get a low volt cut off thing?
  6. mostly not only, my girlfriends little brother (the person I will mostly be bashing with) has got a bmx track near him so I imagine we will be messing around there as well. The speed NT looks really nice. Loving the threaded shocks and stuff. Hop up wise is there stuff around for it? Spares easy to get? if so I will most likely go with the Speed NT. That said I love the speed T. I heard brushless motors are really good. I am thinking about a Speed T then dropping an after market brushless set in it? http://www.modelspor...on&ItemID=34312 maybe something like that? I assume it will go pretty fast with something like that in it? Also can anyone recommend a good charger. http://www.modelsport.co.uk/?CallFunction=ShowSpecification&ItemID=32880 thinking that battery also do I need a balancer? if so what are they and anyone got any recommendations? thanks and sorry for all the questions
  7. Oh and its mostly tarmac based bashing.
  8. Hey everyone. Its been a while since I did R/C as I've come back from uni now I can start again but am kinda out of the loop. I am looking for a new stadium truck basically. For bashing, jumping and generally to just play with while I try and get my beloved T-Maxx 2.5 back in working order! Nitro or Electric doesn't bother me. Just want some input on what you guys use and what you would recommend? (oh and the faster the better, currently looking at a Jato 3.3 but don't know if its any good?) and just a heads up if its electric is LiPo hard to work with? seeing as when I left LiPo wasn't really around. Thanks Al.
  9. does it come with a pistol grip remote?
  10. Hey so thanks to everyone who helped on the gen. elec. forum but its now come down to this: Yokomo Drift Racer RTR - Blitz Skyline ER34 or Tamiya Nismo R34 GT-R Z-Tune Drift Spec & Mtroniks Viper RV 15 # & Hitec Aggressor 2 27AM they are both around the same price and I am just unsure which to get? which will serve me best?
  11. Ok cool I was just looking I know this is the general section and all but are Yokomo better? tbh the only advantage I can see the tamiya has are there are more hop up parts but like as a stock car are Yokomo better or is there really nothing in it? as I would need to buy new radio gear and a new ESC it would cost
  12. ok thanks sorry I have only ever run nitro in the past
  13. Thanks very much means a lot, so the only things I need once I have the set is radio gear and a battery is that correct?
  14. Hey everyone so I have enver ever built a R/C from ground up both the ones I own were prebuilt (one RTR one second hand) and am looking to get a drift car, I have seen http://modelsport.co.uk/?CallFunction=Show...mp;ItemID=31181 which I really like but am unsure how hard cars are to build and how long they take. If it is very time consuming (as going back to uni soon) I will just get a RTR car instead. Thanks P.S also how hard would it be (I have very little experience) to paint the bodyshell well?
