I had the same problem for a while. Read the directions over and over and kept trying. With no joy. I eventually found out that one of the channel plugs (one for fwd/bkwrd in my receiver wasnt working so all i did was change the reciever and now its working perfectly. Also when your doing the programming make sure you keep the button pressed for a few seconds. If you still cant get it working id contact MSUK they are really helpful and know loads about these things.

Ive been recommended to use between a 26 to 28teeth pinion gear with a 95teeth visco slipper gear for my car. Is there anyone which would be better than the other? Ive also got a 92teeth visco slipper gear would i have to use a differrent pinion gear again for that? Any awswers/information would be most appriciated as oi dont want to under gear my brand new motor and ruin it. Many thanks.

Im doing up my old schumacher couger and ive just purchased a new ESC with a 12t limit and an Orion 13x2 motor as im aware they require the least maintenence. Ive also been told that i would have to select the right pinion gear at the moment ive got a 22t pinion and a 96t visco is this ok for that motor? Also im wanting to get a new battery maybe a 7.2 4000 or above (any recommendations?). i have an old riko fast charger and its says 7.2 1.2Ah/ 1.8 Ah and it says the output is 9v 2a/ 30 min. Im not sure if this is suitable? Can anybody help?

Hi thanks for your reply to my post. Now im mainly running on rough/smooth tarmac but in summer probly dirt as well.

Im looking to buy either an Venom racing fireball 13 double, or an orion SV2 method 13x2 or an LRP V10 spec 4 12x2 which one would be the best ? Ive been told that their performence is excellent but the running time is very short with a normal battery. Which battery would be best for performence & running time? also i know you have to maintain these motors what does that involve. If anyone could give me any info on this id be very greatful. Hello everyone. Im wanting to make my Schumacher Coger as fast as poss and ive been recommended a good ESC and motor. But ive also bein advised co change my gearing (the cog and maybe the pinion gear. Could anyone shed any light on this? Many thanks
