CARNAGE FROM HELL
Hi guys, Just wondering if anyone would know if a hobao 2 speed kit would fit in my kyosho mp 7.5, since I'm looking to make it 2 speed, and I have already got a hobao hyper mac .28 engine in it. This is a link to it on modelsport:

willb
Not without some serious modifications, it wouldn’t fit. Why do you want to make it 2-speed? Just to make it quicker?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
CARNAGE FROM HELL
Yeah, I guess. What modifications would I have to do you think?
willb
A .21 will give you more top end speed than a .28. A .28 is best used in a truggy or a heavier model as it packs more low down punch. If you're sticking with the engine then I'd look at changing the gearing, get a slightly bigger clutch bell perhaps?
CARNAGE FROM HELL
Might do that. Cheaper and easier. But would like to make it myself to a 2 speed and can be called "custom". Its really just the length of the 2 speed shaft. If it is the same length in my kyosho, I can fabricate anything around that to fit it. It's just really the length for the shaft and centre diff mounts
