Scooper53
Hi, Hope your all well Have recently purchased the above car and am loving it! New metal savox steering servo installed and it's quick and steers like it's on rails! Looking to see what upgrades I can stick on it that will make a difference to the car. I'm new to this game so any advice would be good. Moving to herne bay in Kent in the next couple of weeks and also would like to know where I could run it, maybe meet up with people as I won't know anyone! (Violins out please!) lol Many thanks, stu
Anthoop
Plenty of different bits available for the Hyper7 but mostly I would say wait until something breaks then look at the options. (I presume you already have replaced the four AA receiver battery pack). If you want more power then you can do plenty of things....convert the engine to bumpstart with a closed backplate...change the exhaust...use higher nitro content fuel....change the engine. If you want a bit more top speed then you can change the gear ratio but of course you lose a little acceleration...and vice versa. If you want it to handle better/differently then you can fill the differentials with varying weight silicone oils...and alter the shock absorbers by using (again) varying weight oils along with different strength springs...and check/measure/adjust wheel alignment. (Not to forget using the right tyre for the surface....slicks no good in mud and mud pluggers no good for tarmac). If you want to do jumps then you should look at upgrading the chassis braces and the shock towers and probably the front hubs from the outset.
