  1. question, what temperature can the servo's etc work in ? I remember my Tamiya Hornet the servos used to lock up and wouldn't work in the cold and snow. Can you drive these things in the snow, let 's say, down to minus 10 ? Could be cold at Christmas Andy
  2. thanks, I've got two daughters, and for sure, the youngest is going to want one, after she sees the older one with the Tiger so the next investment can be a Hyper 7 Andy.
  3. ok it's all answered and the Tiger is ordered :-) thanks for the help I'll be back on Christmas day when I am trying to figure out how to start it :-) Andy.
  4. Hi All, thanks for the feedback, I am leaning towards the http://www.jemodels.com/index.php?app=gbu0&ns=prodshow&ref=TT-6228-F102 and have read some good reviews on it. Regarding that offer from JE Models does that include the radio control handset as well ? Andy.
  5. Hi All, newby question, I had Tamiya cars when I was little, now it's my children's turn and I would like to start them off on a Nitro car and join a local club. Christmas is coming and it's the ideal opportunity to get a Nitro rc car. Question, what to buy ? I want to spend upto 300pounds on a kit including the radio etc I'd like to get something for offroad courses, something like the HPI Bullet: http://www.hpiracing.co.uk/piw.php?partNo=107004 but... I've been reading reviews and they seem to be saying the parts quality on the HPI Bullet is not very high. So, the question, if I want something like the HPI Bullet, and want to spend upto 300quid on the set, what to get, in that class, what is the best ? And if anybody's got experience and thinks the HPI Bullet is great then I am interested to hear that too. Thanks in advance, Andy.
