Home pics were taken on me iPad and it took an hour of faffing to get them up... Pics from where it happened were on my phone but it would not let me log in to photobucket even though i installed the app. Had to put them on my laptop which will not let me upload from the suggested link!! Had to then upload from my Lappy to photobucket then load on to here using my iPad! Ecky thump! I am now in deep negotiations with my mate, Jim Beam! An upside is that I'm buying a chassis from one of you guys from the for sale section. Could one of the Mods pls transfer this to the large scale/petrol section as well? I'm a broken man.

I went past the boulder and thought "I need to look out for that on the way back"...yeah...

The ally wheel pic was the damage I did before...I repaired the blown shocks x2 and the two front lower arms then took it out and hit the boulder. I remember filling the tank and thinking "Will I get to use a full tank? Am I being a bit ambitious?" The answer to the above is: No. & Yes.

Gordon Bennett this is tedious. Photobucket is a waste of time and Tapatalk found this forum but I can't post pictures on there. I give up.

I think the difference between the custom and custom special was ESC, gold option house shocks and full ball raced bearings. I upgraded the bearings straight away and bought a set of Schumacher CAT wheels and tyres but left everything else as standard. Then it sat in the shed for about 20yrs. I got it out a couple of yrs ago to put it on eBay and fell in love with it again! Recently I fitted a BL motor and modern ESC along with the OH gold shocks from a Lazer ZX I got for peanuts. I can't find the shell which I think looked better than the OMC Special shell. Still bash it and love working on it. Mike.
