Hello everyone I have a hpi baja 5b ss and I want to service the front and rear shocks. What shock oil does everyone recommend, regarding weight of oil. Also does any one recommend using the dark soul o rings instead off stock ones. are they any good. I don't race, I only bash over my local park. Any help would be most appreciated.

Hi thanks for all the posts and information regarding my pull start. I did buy the engine second hand and it had the wrong shaft in it.so I ordered the right shaft and hey presto the pull start fitted.

hi everyone I have a habao hyper 7 .21 3 port engine and I have just bought a new pull start for it part no 21025. But I noticed the hex at the back of the pull start is 10mm and the shaft hex on the engine is 12mm. Anyone got any suggestions please. Thanks

i have just stripped a ofna .36 engine and when taking the piston out I didn't take note of what way the piston sat. Looking at the con rod there is a tiny oil hole. Does that hole face towards the exhaust or face towards the carb. Many thanks

hi everyone I have a hpi baja 5b ss, I bought a absima cr3p transmitter Which I'm only getting about 40/50 metre range. Could someone Tell me if that's about right or should I get better range then that. I think The fail safe does cut in which is good. I also have the super killer bee switch Fitted as well. Any advice would be most welcome Many thanks

Thanks for the advice but it turns out I needed a 4inch wire adapter to connect the two togeather.

Hi there I'm new to 1/5 scale petrol engines and I need some advice please. I bought a hpi baja 5b ss and I'm having trouble connecting the battery wire to the on/off switch. One connecter is red and the other is black, when I put them togeather I melted the switch wires. I have bought a new switch and battery pack and it still don't look right and I don't want to melt the new switch again. Any one got any suggestions please. Thanks

hi I have just bought the hpi baja 5b ss from modelsport, with that I purchased the power hd throttle servo. Could anyone tell me what servo horn I use as in with the car they give you different horn for different makes off servos. Or can I use one off the horns that come with the servo. Many thanks
