  1. Good to see you like the Sabre. On a whim I bought the nitro version with the idea I would convert to brushless if I didn't get on with nitro. It really is one tough little buggy, it's fast and handles superbly. Not to mention VFM is great!
  2. I'll be on the quarry bash providing it's a Sunday, got a couple of nitros I need to fix in the meantime!!
  3. Nandas are definatley the best tyre I've used for muddy grass, got them on my buggy and short course. They really hook up well, to the point where rollovers are inevitable while cornering.
  4. Video looks great, good work MidlandsRC,seems you all had a great time. I'm deffo out on the next one, got a Traxxas Slash Nitro & Hong Nor Sabre X3 nitro and they haven't seen much use. Be good to meet some new faces!
  5. Bit more notice next time please. I am down in Kent working and not getting back till tomorrow pm, I would of loves to meet up as well. Fingers crossed we can make this a regular thing and I can tag along then. Have fun people!!
  6. Thanks for sharing that! I'll look into it. It's getting close to 5ive money now.
  7. Not sure on exact length. You would normally buy fronts and rears. Then a hardware kit depending on the model of truck. What truck do you have. They fit straight on a slash
  8. Anyone been out lately. I took my rc's down Dudley wood the last week but the track is Unuseable atm, the puddles are really big and deep. Just had a bash around the fields.
  9. I have been looking around for one of these second hand, as you can imagine there aren't many about. Do you mind telling me where you got yours please, I only ask as I may buy one new if the price is good! Thanks
  10. I've always found the original Slash bodies to be very tough compared to some of the aftermarket ones
  11. I went with Proline power strokes on all of my slash's, super smooth and very tough, would recommend them to anyone. Got them about
  12. Good stuff, that's certainly cleared it up for me, I was going to buy them online as they are cheaper but I think I will go and see my lhs as there's a bigger choice. Thanks for your help though
  13. Thanks for that smeghead, that looks as though it should be deep enough, I'm going to try an 8mm socket tomorrow to see if that works first
  14. I haven't at the min, but thanks for the advice. Are you saying just a normal socket will fit? If so I'm going to kick myself for not thinking about using one!! ????
