Oh knowledgable people of MSUK. How easy are parts/Hopups for GV Rex X to get? Im contemplating getting one. Saw one foe sale on here but funds wont allow til at least next month. Trying to be a rebel and not get a Hyper 7! lol

Just thought id gauge which style of transmitter MSUK users prefer. Sorry Cant remember what the proper name for the "trigger and wheel" style. I personally use a Futaba Attack 2ER. I find it easier to make the tiny changes. Any opinions welcome.

Firstly, cracking post really helpful. Possible usedul additions; best ways to change servos and ensure everything is synced right. I know there bare ba lot of people buying Hyper 7s with recommendations to change steering servos.

Cheers guys. Im trying to get my Kyosho Pureten GP Alpha back on the road after a considerable lay-off. Everything seems to be okay, with the exception of starting. Glowplug and starter are what i've narrowed it down to. Ziggy, said the OS 8 would be okay for testing, what about for general bashing? Im using 25% fuel, this okay?

Would an OS8 be suitable?

Quick question for the more educated than myself, I believe my glow plug and glow starter are both knackered. Is there any way to test them? If they are both dead can i have some recommendations for a plug and starter for a Kyosho GX-12 engine. Cheers

Id avoid Airport Metal Detectors if i were you. At least you wont be short of a screw to two! Glad to hear your back to (normal?) ish

I've been away from the hobby for a while due to moving jobs, house and baby arriving. So i thought it was time to dig out my car and get back to it. I have a Kyosho Pureten GP Alpha 4WD. I gave it a once over checked all was tight and secure, lubricated/oil the appropriate parts charged the glow plug then . . . . nothing. I think the problem is a dodgy glow plug/starter. However i did notice that the engine wouldnt provide motion through to the clutch bell. On closer inspection the problem is the bell slipping around the shoes and wont move the cogs. Any help appreciated.
