  1. I do really like little bridges like that. As a but of an "explorer" if I see something like that in the distance I'll go pottering off over to it.
  2. I must admit it, I'd quite like to try an FPV camera one day, but I think I'd need to use it via a screen rather than goggles as I'd get motion sick I feel. I've just taken the dive and added metal gears, bearings and the upgraded Brushless motor and ESC from traxxas on my defender. Hoping to get it in the garden today once all fitted.
  3. So it's not quite work on the Defender, so thought I'd post it here. But started working on the garden to have a little crawler course, still a lot to do, but it's a start and my first time.
  4. I am using both ports, each has a Y connector too. That may be it in that case, so I'll stick to less in that case, a bit of a shame.
  5. Good evening everyone, So I installed a few extra lights today on my Defender, however when the rear lights in the new bumper are wired in, the main light kit doesn't work. I have the Traxxas pro light kit, for head lights and rear lights which worked great. I installed the Injora light bar and injora front and rear bumpers that have lights in too and when all are linked, two in one Y harness and two in the other, my pro light kit doesn't come on, but the rear lights on the bumper become brighter than if I unplug the pro light kit. So I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong. If anyone can help?
  6. Another cracking day. This time at Dore and Totley, the woods across from the station. If you can get there, I'd highly recommend it, a great walk, lots of trails and great terrain too.
  7. Looks like a lot of fun there. Could spend hours somewhere like that.
  8. Ahh I shall have another strip down tonight in that case. Cheers guys 😄
  9. After fitting new brass steering knuckles, I had stuttering while driving. After problem solving, I found that one of the axles was not spinning freely when seated in the knuckle (I may be wrong on the name) I've used some model railway fine oil, which has freed it up a LOT and so very little stuttering now. But I was hoping that there would be some proper stuff out there for the future. Unless I am completely wrong. I've added a photo of the parts.
  10. Hi all, First off sorry if this is already discussed elsewhere. the issue has been somewhat fixed, ive found out what it was. so ibdo need lube, so which is best? Or oil?
  11. He's just dropping off some flour 😄 I'm already planning what I want to do with this rig. I want to convert it to be a pickup, like the following photo. It'll be a challenge, but my model making back ground should help me, and I won't start until I have a few days to sink in to it, as well as the correct tools and components I'll need. I could probably just buy a shell for it, but in case I can't, I'll be able to modify this one I feel. It won't have as long of a rear section, but I feel it would work.
  12. I love seeing drone footage. The speed of them and the dexterity too, just fantastic.
  13. Good evening everyone, So I had a bloody good spot of luck the other day and won "do u RC"s raffle for the above rig. It arrived today and I'm dead impressed. Feels very sturdy and aiming to take it out tomorrow, with the Defender, to get some trail photos. It was even the new V2 and has the interior with a driver which was quite a shock. Rob has been really good with the process and although I'm still very nervous, for various reasons, it's been a good experience overall. It'll be interesting to start modifying it once I finish the Defender build.
  14. Ahh thanks for that, thankfully it's metal to metal, so the standard shall be what I pick up.
