  1. I just placed my order as I missed out on the Green 40th Ann version. I this going to be a limited release as well?
  2. Looks very good. I have the Komodo Double Cab, and quite enjoy building it. It performs pretty well and have some unique designs.
  3. Just saw that then I try to find something on the website. As long as it is mild (or even asymptomatic), better safe than sorry. Shows that the stupid virus is still lurking around.
  4. Hi Storm, thanks! I also found those as well. Some info are useful, but most of them aren't very detailed. I suspected that some TTech cars were shipped semi-assembled in those days. I slowly worked my way through the dissembling and tried to order new screws and replacement parts along the way, so far so good. The difficult part would be finding some good pushrods to replace the thin stock one for the steering link. The suspension was way ahead of its time but sadly the steering setup was from the 80s'. It apparently uses a weak M2 cleives/clip from RC planes to connect it to the steering rack.😤 This Streetwise is the most basic version of any TTech cars, most of the gears are plastic as well as the ball-diffs, and it is almost impossible to find any upgrades these days. The only option is to find some custom CnC or 3D printing shops if I get desperate. Anyway, see of I can get hold of a good old X11 or XK98 later on (if somebody wants to sell their collection!)
  5. After a month of posting, apparently nobody really has any info except somebody selling the Streetwise manual on ebay for some 20quids...... Anyway, I have completely stripped and cleaned the chassis and modified a couple of parts. More parts will come, steering links, servo mount etc. Still thinking of what power unit I should put it, the theme is mild and reasonably cheap. I don't want a bullet and destroy the 20+ yr old car. Enjoy!
  6. I have just acquired a vintage TTech Streetwise in a very basic configuration, no carbon nor alloy dampers. I am looking for the instruction manual so that I can service the car a bit easier, can anyone help? Thanks!
  7. I guess it's more about the current than the voltage if you bypass any of the PCB components.
  8. Oh, that's nice! One more fellow Double Cab owner! I have started building mine just before the lock down, I basically ordered everything, including all the upgrades and electronics, some actually from Hong Kong. So far most of the stuffs have arrived, except a light kit and the ESC. I haven't bought any RC for over 10years, so this one is going to be the ultimate rig for me.
  9. Really sad to see them go. But in the business of RC, there are few small operations that can survive forever. Tekin went out of business many years ago but come back in recent years. In the 90s', Tekin and Novak basically monopolised the ESC scene with Reedy and Monster being the main power plants. I had the Novak 410-M5 and Tempest which were excellent and my Mongoose is still running strong. I guess it is difficult to compete with cheap electronics from China these days with disposable prices. We will miss those red little cases in our RC cars for certain.

It looks cool. But I am more interested in the receiver that comes with the TX.
  11. THanks James! Yes, I did a search a while ago and found the same place. Maybe I should consider ordering it from the US. I don't understand why they do not import these Lipo charger/battery combo into the UK when they sell the Micro-T here!?
  12. I have been looking for the Losi Lipo charger and battery in the UK? I was not able to find any hobby shops selling the combo. Any idea?
