  1. Would any of you more experienced folk be able to recommend a motor mount? Mechanically, do I just need a motor bracket and a gear for the motor? I'd be very keen to hear your thoughts about linkage with the current clutch mechanism, perhaps? Any advice gratefully received, I have no model shops near my home in Wales.
  2. Hi! I've been given a boxed, as new almost unused Nitro 10 from the early 90s. Probably a mk1. After cleaning up the carb, engine, pipes, tank and fitting a new glow starter, starter-packs, fuel and air filter I've tried for a month to get it to run for more than ten seconds at a time. I'm at the end of my tether. I'm normally reasonably competent with real car engines so I'm surprised I couldn't get it running. Is now the time to just give up and convert it to brushless? My other cars are vintage Tamiya electric. I'll be gutted, but at least it would then get the use it deserves. I'll then need to try and source a motor mount. Any thoughts, guys?
