Yeah been riding for 25 years, I was lucky to grow up in a great area for riding so it has just been part of life for me, mostly raced and rode Downhill until my thirties then I switched to riding and racing enduro, now I just ride for fun and fitness. Just built up this new frame as a warranty replacement from SantaCruz after my old frame broke (lifetime warranty is a great thing). I like to run a big burly bike as we have the terrain locally and it’s always what I enjoy the most.
I’ve dabbled a bit at enduro. Fun but need to be fit though which I’m not at the mo!

I see all sorts all over Facebook. Mainly car ones, even houses!

I work as a bike tech so a lot of what I do involves building frames up. Always much more satisfying than just a straight boxed bike. I do enjoy a wheel build to!

I think there’s probably too much hype around them. Bit like the 80s when microwaves were the thing. Great at certain things and can save money and time but not the kitchen saviour that some outlets make them out to be.

As the title says! A week in hospital in the middle! After being unwell for a while turns out I have IBD. Thankfully getting back to normal now!

Has to be said I’m very tempted to get one. I’ve loved the Maxx and was thinking of going for an Xmax but this would probably suit where I run my trucks better. I can see me selling the Talion and the Vorteks off in the spring!

New one on me! Went to use the Talion the other day and the steering was reversed! Very strange! I’ve not messed about with ESC programming and the tx has always been set to normal. It’s not a major as I can just reverse it on the tx and all is well. Just a bit bemused as to how it’s happened!

For sale is my Arrma Vortek 3s. I’ve had this truck for just over a year. It has had various upgrades. Hardened slipper clutch, hardened rear diff. All the pivot balls have been replaced. Rear arms have been swapped out for the RPM versions. The shell has been taped and is in a little tatty but fully useable condition. £230 collection, can post for another £10.
