  1. Thank you for the reply. I might run the splitter to one of the aux poetry’s then as I plan on running 2 motor fans.
  2. Hi, I have a max 6 and believe I can change the BEC to 7.4 to power the servo to 35kg I also plan on running a twin motor fan and upgraded esc fan. ifmi buy a JR y harness will this split the 7.4v 50/50 or does it not work like that? I was thinking of running the Jr splitter from the esc fan input to both this fan and the motor fans but would it effect power going to the fans? man I better running the motor fan from the receiver box ? cheers
  3. Thanks storm. So is my video normal ? apologies for going on but want to make sure I don’t damage the car. I have the o ring in but seems to do very little. thanks all
  4. Appreciate the reply. my question is should the centre drive shaft move as much as it does in my video above? storm had suggested the grub screw should hold it in place , but as per my picture to me it seems the grub screw isn’t lined up to hold it (as per my picture) I have a lot of play with my centre shaft moving and wasn’t sure if this was right or not. thanks on the washer info.
  5. Does my video not show up ? here’s a picture , it seems the grub screw is too far back to hold the centre shaft and there’s a red o ring even in front of it, I can’t see how it would hold it in place
  6. Thanks Storm, so to be clear for my simple mind, the grub screw when tight should stop any movement in the shaft like above? It must have not been correct to start with then, as when I had taken the front skid plate off the shaft came out without me moving the grub. And one of the ends of the shaft (balls) should be flat?
  7. Thanks Storm, so it shouldn’t be loose like this? I have put the grub screw in with lock tie, but I’m guessing its doing nothing if its not on the Centre shaft itself? I will take it all back out and have a look, I can’t remember a flat bit only round but will take out and have a look. don’t suppose anyone has a picture for me to help? arr no problem, will take a look at what storm said, but I didn’t think the grub screw gripped the shaft as there’s a red o ring between them. Hopefully someone else can help. good luck with the sale.
  8. Thanks Storm, so it shouldn’t be loose like this? I have put the grub screw in with lock tie, but I’m guessing its doing nothing if its not on the Centre shaft itself? 9. Thanks mate, so it’s more about the thickness than anything else. I thought I heard it couldn’t be bigger than the bearing. Tbh I don’t have much of a gap with the 2 supplied but I’m sure there’s a reason people don’t leave these too so will use 2 of the m5 x 15mm I have. thank you. p.s. what about my query on the centre drive shaft above would you mind helping here ? I know your fed up of the Mavericks so thanks in advance
  10. Just picking this thread up now I found it very helpful as a noob coming into RC with the Maverick. On the above do you find your centre drive shaft loose I.e. it slides up and down the chassis? also when I turn my wheels it doesn’t always turn the shaft, do I have a problem? finalys come here to do the chassis brace mod you mention and your thread has stopped 😞
  11. Hi, what D was here did you use? I have M5 15mm but they are bigger than the wheel bearing and I read somewhere it shouldn’t be, so seems if I have the wrong size? thanks in advance
  12. Hi, I’ve just rebuilt my MT and did the locktite mods but my drive shaft seems very loose is this normal or have I done somthing wrong ? IMG_4560.MOV thank you
  13. How did you get on with the batteries ? im about to purchase a max but have a spektrum smart charger so didn’t want to have to buy another set up. my charger has ec5/ic5 and ec3/ic3 ports on it. the spektrum batteries are expensive I have 2 at the minute but not sure they would be worth the extra for the max as none of the smart features would be avail?
