    Just had a Whatsapp off the owner of my local model shop, informing me the new RC I pre ordered a while back is due this week….. I didnt budget for that this side of Xmas 😂😂 Ahh well. Itll help them out and I guess its only money. Any guesses?

    So, im using last of my annual leave from work, Thursday to Tuesday, i really thought i might get out for some RC stuff, but wednesday i go down with a vile chest infection, that has had me wiped out, still no better

      Sofa and youtube are your friend, don’t rush back to work you need to have been given the all clear by the Dr squire. Years ago my neighbour brushed it off and it ended up with unexpected early retirement.

    L&L models, are they usually a good shop to deal with, i seem to be having a little bit of a problem with them, ordered a body nearly a week ago showing in stock at order, had conformation email then nothing no shipped email no item now showing out of stock, so emailed to ask to cancel and refund

      I’m glad it wasn’t just me then! On the flip side if Kamtec make what you want they are excellent.

       

      But I know L&L imports a lot of specific stuff that’s easy to source from the other side of the world but cones with high postal charges. So fair play too them for taking the business  risk, it’s a shame they seem to not give a toss.

    Okay gone and done a silly thing, watched a YT video of the legend Ken Block driving his F-150 Hoonigan truck now i want the associated model, but its to slow, looks great but sub 20mph is not enough and to convert to brushless would take it way over budget

      Tommy is ace! Saw the who (well Dawltry and Townsend) at the O2 in the summer, 2 hour hour set and they could still cut it - also the loudest gig I’ve been to, but as my Mrs pointed out most of the audience was probably deaf 🤣

    Been a rough few weeks for my Girlfriend & I (more for her), but thankfully weve had some good news health wise and its been confirmed were expecting a healthy Baby Girl in Jan  24 🩷🥰 She is going to be so spoilt 👶🏻🙄

    Has anyone got any experience with L&L models? I've ordered two shells off them but only one arrived. I've sent them two emails since Wednesday last week, but have not received any response. I'd be happy with a refund for the shell I didn't receive but I can't seem to get anywhere with them

      Pretty much my experience, pleased with what I got when i eventually got it. Kamtec maybe rough and ready but they don’t mess you around 👍

      Lead times have always been long if you didn’t want what was in stock and picked a specification and colour to suit what you actually wanted, not what the market wanted - 6 months for a petrol E klasse in 2015, the wife’s 718 was over a year in 2018 - turned up in 2019 😁
