  1. Nice video 👍 Have they got what you need here @ RGT Crusher parts? https://www.asiatees.com/ask?description=Crusher&initial=1&search_location=display
  2. Incredible stuff! I wouldn’t like to be around when the electric bill comes in!
  3. Cracking collection there 👍 Those HKS liveries must be the worst in the world to put on!
  4. That’s the first one I’ve seen that actually resembles a Renault Magnum! Just fabulous 👍 Was it a paid print? I guess it bolts to the front crossmember and rests on the rails at the back?
  5. The “Ball Shaver” sounds like a great name for a fictional sponsor livery on the back wings of your race buggies and Rossa builds 😂
  6. The flat keyed/screw down shafts don’t seem to exist but I cant say I’ve heard of people moaning about things slipping either. This was Lesu the reducing gearbox and prop I use, comes in 5/1 and 14/1 I don’t think either is a really truly truthful ratio! Next to a standard 3 speed for reference. I’d say build the 3 speed as its a work of (admittedly old) art, and maybe lock it in 1st. Nobody seems to make a simple step down inline gearbox that bolts straight in.
  7. Coming along very nicely, it looks great! Without the motor or gearbox (weight) in it will sit high at the front, and no there isn’t much rear suspension travel! (The shocks are pretty but next to useless too!) . Just make sure all the little tabs on the axle casing all point upwards. I find I need to shim the front wheels on the hubs too. You might like to drill a larger whole through each chassis crossmember whilst its all apart if you intend to thread a light kit through, rather than over the chassis. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/364249676626?hash=item54cef8fb52:g:AqYAAOSwtp1kWQCJ&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAA0A8A9EmifF3Ba%2B08ZW5ko6QD1Huq49rRowLVQcKR019F%2FgILoO%2FpgCCfLz9RLU9QSSOcip9tMF8jKkovaPik0jLwVGWrFHTZfhg7YCmcfxkF7jqAlrT7C2oxYp%2FJPgPTk99ML0VFrOlY4n56IsukXBm9isSfgKmQSJFZn8TInkrHMkdwsKBFqybsN6K8%2FG6Hl1BpQzR3BokbiR55Oe%2BGliaL5D6ipsRA8Li85W08OQiA7qCG8OysLmTLIdhluYqPzXJueFQ7QIoXKbeIUm7WlRQ%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR76V75HMYg These brackets are cheaper on ali express, they mount under the motor can and give you a gear servo. You just need to buy servo to fit. RC jaz makes some nice black metal propshafts, lesu make nice alloy ones - but neither are crawler quality! Butbit will pull some drive line slop out. https://www.rcjaz.co.uk/spares-tamiya-tractor-truck-t-48_103_265.html?applyFilter=1&currency=GBP&allsfty=1&allsftr=1&pfrom=0.00&pto=160.51&sfm=44&page=1&sort=2a Good luck with the build, it will look fabulous once its finished!
  8. If you don’t buy a ticket you have nothing to worry about. Bon chance to those profiteering from the cash foolish (248 tickets!). To me seems no different to the lottery, online betting or scratch cards, people believe they can beat the odds - but then for a few pounds who cares! I keep my money in my pocket, but good luck Kev and to those who fancy a chance!
  9. 9 year old niece + long grass + locked axles = smoke all escaping from the motor 🤣 Despite being able to fry an egg on the 1080 it was functioning happily!
  10. @JonnyUK if had no problems with stainless fixings from GWR fasteners.
  11. That’s a nice tray 👍 I’ve been using these for ages as you can clean grease off easily, but I might treat myself to one of those. https://www.modelsport.co.uk/product/371258?gad=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwusunBhCYARIsAFBsUP9mBzw7IFVemQErT_hDOYcfVFyYOqVbtNmEumTSLRO6e9eC-cW2HMwaAjZcEALw_wcB
  12. Might be how it is, might be broken too? The radio receiver unit on the truck, is the aerials lead (thing black wire usually) free and pointing outward? Try all the dual rate settings on the handset too.
  13. Plaza day! Some low friction step screws (5!) with all important hex head for my leaf sprung Volvo - lets hope they fit - a GT tuned motor and hard wheels for a future shelfer. All for a few yen under £50, not cheap cheap but not bad either at about half UK retail. Of course a the famous Plaza eraser too!
  14. Yup been shopping with Lesu, my other truck has Lesu gearbox and props, have used Elite before but I’m givingToucan Hobby a try this time !
  15. Quick question to @Captain bart is all 7075 grade aluminium still equal? I’m not suggesting the Chinese have form for suggesting grades of metal are equal to say Swedish metal or similar, when clearly they are not, or have things moved on from when I was involved in engineering?
  16. Yep we’ve all done it and we will all do it again!
  17. The plan is for an 8x4 rigid using the recovery rails, but I’m having visions of a beaver tail now or a plant hire truck. I think I still have to pull the second axle forward too. As you are probally aware this plane might change 7 times 🤣
  18. Its had an effect because a set of the longest tamiya chassis rails I could buy arrived today for my Volvo FH12. 🤣
  19. A set very expensive (for what they are!) 8x4 Tamiya chassis rails for my project😉
  20. A nice. surprise waiting with my neighbours!
