Finally finished the Tamiya 1/10th TT01E chassis with a WRC Subaru shell. I built the chassis last year, painted it in the summer (the vents and back windows are actually heavy spray tint you can see through just about) and today whilst dying I finally stickered it all up. Fully functional RC but not likely to be used in anger - I have battered ones for that! (Besides the shell is far too low for the wheels to turn). Don’t look too close at the stickers, like I said I’m dying today!

Been out today, even though I’m a bit old for conkers! I did forget how glacial this is though - so slooooow…. 3s next time out. I even avoided all the swamps today too!

Had a peek at the shell I painted when the sun was still out earlier in the week. Smoked the vents on the bonnet rather than a sticker as an experiment.

Not noticeably so? You could try breaking the motor in by running in a glass of water though, it would let you know if the motor was sticking too. Can you try the motor mount mount in a different position?
