Been a while, but back into RC - with my 6 year old lad. 1/10 2wd buggy indoor carpet racing. Love it. He has a Schumacher Cougar KC and I have the TA B6.2. Addictive - and expensive! Hope you're all well.

Hello Ladies & Gents! Just hoping to hang out with you and enjoy RC! I like to build about anything with horse power 🤓! I haven't visited any forums for years. I had a stroke caused by a brain aneurysm about three years ago. That'll take the energy right out of you. I've been lucky enough to have three TIA's. That's when blood finds it's way back to where it hasn't been for awhile. That's enough about that! Ready to be a part of an Awesome RC community. My latest build is a Traxxas UDR. I've been researching parts and performance videos for about a year now and scouring the parts diagrams and suppliers. I'm just starting to aquire parts. Can't build as fast as I used to. Can't afford it or think that fast anymore 🤓.

But yes, a crazy difference in comparison to todays prices. Inflation over the last 20 years has been astronomical

Where does everyone buy their LiPo's these days? I always used Hobbyking but it seems they have moved all battery sales to the international warehouse now.

I know it might not be the most popular opinion, but i've always bought mine from Amazon & Ebay. By far the cheapest prices for lipos that are still of a decent quality. There's some very cheap ones that I would stay clear of, (they're easy enough to spot), but a few brands I would recommend are: Zeee, Vorjay & Zop Power. Never had any issues with any of my batts in the 1 - 2 years i've had them.
