  1. Hello mate, welcome to the forum That heli looks awesome!
  2. @tomr Awesome Tom 👍 I look forward to seeing how you get on with this & whether or not it's worth that extra £100 on top of the normal Flux
  3. Nice one Jack, it's looking good mate 👍 The weather is meant to be alright tomorrow so should be able to give it a run. Raining again sunday/monday then looking dry all week 😄
  4. Looks like either a Tamiya Twin Detonator or Wild Dagger https://www.tamiya.com/english/products/58309twin/index.htm https://www.blackholesun.fr/en/39-en/tamiya/201-tamiya-off-road-chassis?start=17
  5. The best part of that one is the description, although be warned, reading it will make your head hurt 😵
  6. @Ag100 I really do like what you've done with this Losi mate, looks awesome! & from the video looks like it performs great too
  7. Hi Paul, welcome back mate In the world of RC there is no such thing as quiting... only taking breaks 😉
  8. Hi mate. I don't think that the esc will handle a 3s lipo. I had a little look & the car actually comes with a lithium-ion battery, right? So i'm not even sure if the esc is capable of running a 2s lipo. Maybe have a look on youtube and see if you can find anybody else who has tried it first. 👍
  9. Very nice mate. I've always been a fan of the Atom, especially with that engine. Insanely fast! Every time I see one it reminds me of what it did to Jeremy Clarkson's face...
  10. Awesome video dude 👍 that beach looks like a lot of fun. & lovely view of the mountain range in the distance
  11. I'm looking forward to hearing about how it goes with this new setup. The 60a esc is unlikely to take a 4s battery but I think this car is going to be plenty fast enough on 3s. I'm thinking 50mph+. Then you can start messing about with bigger pinions & wheel/tyre setups. Should be fun 😄
  12. Thanks mate 👍 Agreed, it is a shame. The truck certainly has it's weak points, but that's the same for all RC's, and the parts for this one are fairly cheap. What i'm most impressed with is the drivetrain. Stock spur, pinion & front/rear transmission hold up to 3s bashing very well. The same cannot be said for my Carnage which costed £40 more... So yes, great value for money, and one of my favourite RC's to drive.
  13. My new batteries fit perfectly 👌 like the tray was made for them. Also finally got my new driveshafts & axles in the post today so fitted them. Managed to get it out for a spin between the showers. The new lipo has some really good punch & was only down to 70% after a good 20 minute session.
  14. Fitted new drive shaft and axle to the Quantum. She's up & running again 😁
  15. Another parcel! Been waiting on these drive shafts/axles for a while. Now I can finally fix the Quantum! Don't think im gonna be able to give it a bash today though... it's pretty miserable out there 😔
  16. This just arrived Big thanks to @iRiCkYx 👍 Quick delivery & the car is in tip top condition. Great guy to deal with.
  17. Hi mate, I didn't manage to find many of these for sale at the moment but I did find one currently being auctioned on Shpock for £125 and also one that sold in 2018 for £225, so I guess somewhere between those 2 figures depending on condition. Yours looks pretty good! https://www.shpock.com/en-gb/i/WunvZXEt9lQycjkK/remote-control-nitro-car https://picclick.co.uk/Schumacher-manic-36-twin-RARE-rc-truck-202330208168.html
  18. This is my first time buying this brand, but my friend has been running Vorjays for a few months now on his Team Associated and they've been good as gold 👍 Edit: The price of them was really the main reason why I had to try them out. £34.99 for the pair! Couldn't pass that up
  19. @everclear1984 That looks absolutely incredible! 😲
  20. A nice pair of 5200mah 80c 2s lipos. These should have some good punch and last around 40/45 minutes each in the Quantum.
  21. Oo is that an Evo 5? Very tasty 😋
  22. That's a sweet ride dude! 👌 Love the R32's
  23. @Loboo Looks to be a pretty decent fit in there. I'm very interested to see how durable it is. And well, I guess there's only one way to find out!
