    So I have an RC on the way from California. I've paid (A ludicrous amount to be honest) through eBay's Global Shipping, so all fee's/customs etc are paid in theory. It left California on the 29th Feb, and it arrived at the ParcelForce Depot 3.6 miles from my house at 10am this morning. Wehn do we think it'll be in my hands? Place your bets!

      Brushed is inherently less efficient, the long run times your getting is down the the 30% better efficiency from the brushless and another 30% from it being a lipo.
      You will not get better run time on brushed says the physics.

      Volt up gear down and have fun with 40% more runtime.
      2s is great but for wheel speed 3s is better, lots of comp guys now use small 4s packs more wheel speed more punch.

    Trx4 gurus! Do I need a 3s? Do I use my 3s 5000mh stick from my granite or buy a small pack for the front? Like a trx2328x 3s 1500mh?

      2nd that on the stock servo of ours is still going, its in a different rig, but never died in the trx4, ran mine on an axe system with 6v set on the bec.
      You should be fine but a stronger servo transforms performance allowing you to pinch into corners and have more power and control with a 7.4v or stronger servo
      3s brings the rig to life, too fast go low range, still to fast, gear down on the pinion, but overall stock its amazing on brushless ๐Ÿ˜‰

      35kg+ hv power hd, so you can run 7.4v into the servo, ensure your esc has the amps to output for the servo to make the most of it

      yep, i bought one set of cheap shocks (fastrax or absima irrc) and never made the mistake again, they werent even that cheap, just not even in the same class as the shocks mentioned above.

      Element GT shocks are very good, otherwise traxxas trx4 ones arn't garbage either, never leaked and constantly abused.
      Pay for what you get tho. RTR (other than those mentoned above) ones are utter cheese.

    Finally found a cheap associated sc10 so bought it!! Only downside is it's currently running brushed !!! Need to find a cheap combo to run 3s !

      makes the cheap highrock body look like a work of art and the trx4 sports still cheaper and imo looks better, cant make sense of what they were thinking, unless it was throw it away.

    How much faster do you think a 120C lipo would discharge than a 70C?
    Just looking for some new batteries, the 120C are 600 more mah and ยฃ5 cheaper, i'm guessing the extra 600mah would negate most of the extra discharge rate? or have i got it wrong and it won't really be any difference?

      Higher C also means you can go max lvl with esc power setting that removes the current limits set by the esc and moves it to be battery based (hobbywing and castle for example)

      I think you would want the trx4 back once you had a go with the knightrunner. Unless your wanting a scaler / trailer, the small wheels and long wheel base really dont like technical crawling.
