Have had a good weekend of rc this week. Took my Arrma 4s outcast v2.5 out with higher pinion gear and learned how to backflip it without totally destroying it 😅. Tough rigs. Put some brass on my fcx24 to lower the CG considerably. Took my WR8 out this morning for the first time and it was a blast. Wet ground meant it was really difficult to stop it spinning out at higher speed but what a car!

I hear you. I’d ordered the vxl as it said it was due in but think they made a mistake. Cancelled and got the bl-2s coming on Tuesday but am swapping that system out with a hobbywing immediately as I want speed. And power. 😂

You’re not wrong. Pretty much all their stuff and those like Arrma, Losi etc is though these days 🥲. Can’t wait to hoon this about. Hope I don’t do what I did to my poor xv-01 on the weekend - brand new lancia body cracked after a lamppost sprung up out of nowhere… 😅

This thing looks really good in the YouTube videos so far. RC drivers looks absolute mustard. Was resisting due to price of it up until now but might have to look at getting one. Would be rude not to 😅

Just installed the pro light kit. It looks the absolute business and I’m wondering how I can sneak a bronco in without the missus knowing…

I’ve got the power wagon version and they are the best rtr mini crawlers out there. Defo getting one of these in black.

Tomley just did a video on his and might be worth a watch if you’re thinking about getting it. He also runs it on 4s which would probably help it hold up a bit longer.

Saw the scaled builders guild video on this the other night. I think it looks mustard. I’ve got the K10 version and Traxxas really do a great job on these bodies.

Got my defender today. Looks the absolute business 😎. Doesn’t feel as torque-ey as my scx24 or fcx24 out of the box but have a low gear transmission to swap straight in once chasing the dog around the living room wears off and I actually want to climb stuff/my dog 😂. Love the turning circle on it as well!

This one does look the business. Can’t justify that price tag though… or can I… 🙃

Have been looking at this car over past week or so. How does It crawl? Watched Tomley’s video on it and he thinks it’s good quality but there’s not a lot of talk about it on here.

I use 6s DXF’s and they’re holding up well in my EXB. Got a handful of 6200mah and a couple of 6500’s. I ordered from the online shop and think they took around 2-3 weeks to come. Result that they’re now on Amazon 👍

I can’t see who they’ve made these batteries for. Surely no one is silly enough to pay that money for a single battery 😳

It sure does. My first Traxxas as well and have to say I’m impressed with how they package it. Truck looked a million dollars, pulling it out the box. Give it 10 minutes in the boys hands and he’ll have it run through with mud 🤣

Picked up a Bronco whilst they’re on offer on Modelsport. Wanted to give crawling a go for a while and think my son would appreciate it more than hitting ramps all the time. I’ve had one little run around the garden with it and am already eyeing up a sport kit ffs…😅

Welcome to the forum. I’m from Dagenham and also looking for places and clubs. Mainly go local to me but keen to branch out and meet like minded people. Have got a couple of Arrma 6s trucks for bashing and recently got a TRX4 for a go at Crawling (missus will kill me 😅).

I picked up a couple of used Mini 8ights on eBay a couple of months ago. I bought one back in the day and had regretted selling it ever since. My son and I have loads of fun ripping them about, however I kind of feel like I made a mistake in getting them over the LC racing. I picked up a EMB-1 kit and having driven that (and broke it the other day…) it’s just as good and parts are available, even if a having to wait a little sometimes. Hopefully Losi will bring the M8 back soon and parts for that will become easier to source. Love the mini scale buggy’s! 😀

I enjoy the videos with Stemp the most. Just two mates who’ve known each other for years mucking about causing destruction with radio control toys. What’s not to love about that? 😂

I would LOVE an 8s EXB but I’d have no chance to drive it as the missus would literally kill me 😅

I’d check the gear mesh for the pinion and spur, followed by all diffs.
