As in title I’m struggling to get my switchblade v2 to arm, it’s mated to a r304 futaba and tx is a 3pv. I’ve got the channel turned up to max “+120” and once the switch is changed it drops to “-120” which sounds normal but killswitch just pulsing not allowing engine to be started. Any advice on this?

Anywhere decent around there? Should have mine up and running in the next few months.

How are people finding the 2.0 any major things need changing? Been eyeing one up for the money they are

Hi, been slowly building a 5b with bits and bobs I’ve got eBay etc. I’m pretty stumped on the rear end of it just cannot get it to line up properly. Tried 2 different rear chassis (IRC+ genuine Hpi). Basically once it’s all tightened up the rotors are locking up on the Tr clutch housing also the engine looks to be sat up ever so slightly because the right hand engine mount doesn’t line up. fitted currently with a km alloy gearbox, km trans plate, new tr clutch system, new g320, dominator exhaust. if anyone can share any solutions would be great spent fair amount of time on it and not really progressing and more pics let me know TIA

As above the km is a good option if you want to go new. But 5/600 will get you a genuine hpi second hand with upgrades already on it. If you’re going for a new km personally I would loctite the screws as practically none of them have any on there and check diff+shock oil levels. And as mentioned above kill switch is really a must, baffling that they don’t come with them already installed from factory

Just out of interest what electric model are you after? I’ve just gone out of petrol to try electric with an Arrma Mojave but much prefer petrol, if you were looking to upgrade

Any reason to go Arrma over a vorza? Old vorza looks to be well regarded against the typhoon 6s Still waiting for a review for the vorza against the older one as there very similarly priced

Not sure if there’s any places in the uk that supply these. Only dealing I had with grafil was a few years ago for a baja body waited about 2 months with them saying it will be shipped. All communication from them stopped, had to get a refund through PayPal

Also keen to hear any experiences/reviews against the older one. On the face of it not sure it’s worth the extra ££

Hpi baja 5b mk1 baja. Ready to run with transmitter included. Recently changed all bearings, rebuilt diff with 20k diff fluid. Flm drive cups+ shafts fitted with hostile boots. Savox 0236 steering servo with TR servo saver and added alloy clutch carrier. I was told the motor is a 29cc, has good compression. I’ve since fitted a switchblade v2 killswitch and an outerwears pull start cover, and done the mesh mod on flywheel. Car also had fitted to when I purchased it, alloy front shock tower, alloy rear shock tower. Comes with whole host of spares such as arms, rear chassis, second shell, tyres. Contents off toolboxes included, but BLUE BOX itself is NOT INCLUDED. Wear and tear to be expected with a rc car such as scratches scrapes etc as it’s not a shelf queen. Hi, struggling to work out where all the connectors go on the v2 switchable. Obviously long lead to engine, light, black end connector into 3 channel port but what about the last one at the bottom with the red joiner connector?
