  1. Okay sweet thanks heaps, will this also fit https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/403258742524?hash=item5de41816fc:g:ZN0AAOSwyahgKnBq&frcectupt=true
  2. Hi all i just had ordered a steel spur gear upgrade because the old plastic one stripped when I put a surpass hobby 3s brushless sytem in it. Now within seconds of running the pinion gear has stripped. Is there any upgrades that wont strip and last longer.
  3. Okay so how do I fix the transmission problems and what pinions can I get instead
  4. Hey all Ive had a problem with stripping the main spur gear and the pinion gear slipping down the motor shaft despite loctite, will this steel spur gear work? https://au.banggood.com/VRX-Racing-10995-Upgraded-Steel-Main-Gear-62T-for-1-or-10-RH1043-RH1045-RC-Car-Parts-p-1658401.html?utm_source=googleshopping&utm_medium=cpc_organic&gmcCountry=AU&utm_content=minha&utm_campaign=minha-au-en-pc&currency=AUD&cur_warehouse=CN&createTmp=1&utm_source=googleshopping&utm_medium=cpc_bgcs&utm_content=tanya&utm_campaign=tanya-pmax-au-0917-v2&ad_id=&gclid=CjwKCAiA5t-OBhByEiwAhR-hm920dYk4So0LkTmbZRKeZPz5Od_CFGArR8yMWxYM_ZmudlLCs7SVShoCtCoQAvD_BwE
  5. Hi all, I installed the 120A ESC and 3900KV Brushless Motor. Ran fine except that it kinda jumped and grinded along then all of a sudden shot off at high speed. I replaced the old transmitter with a DumboRC one by the way. So when I pulled the throttle the whole way back, it kind of grinded a long, not steady driving, starting and slowing and then out of no where would accelerate to max speed and take off. it did this all the time. But once it was past that stage, it was good, quick and wild. I had a 3S lipo in by the way. But then the motor started getting super hot and the plastic thing around the wires where they enter the motor literally melted. It stank and was way too hot too touch. And now, it wont work. Just stopped working. The ESC fan still runs great and the servo works, but something is wrong with the engine or ESC. Go a new one on the way. This is the motor: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Impermeabile-3650-3900KV-Motor-Brushless-ESC-Programmatore-Lettore-RC-Car-RC/313214519386?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&var=612048101949&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 This is the ESC: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Impermeabile-3650-3900KV-Motor-Brushless-ESC-Programmatore-Lettore-RC-Car-RC/313214519386?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&var=612048101938&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
  6. Hi all, I have just recently bought a 120A ESC and 3900KV Brushless motor system off ebay. But for some reason, the my car is not working. I am using a 3s lipo and DumborRC X6 transmitter and when i plug the battery in and turn on the car an radio the fan turns on and it beeps. I can use the sub-trims to control the car but that is it. It will not respond to my throttle or steering, only the sub-trims. Does anyone know why this is happening and can it be fixed and how.
  7. Hey guys. I ran a 3s lipo on my Outlaw. I have the Hobbywing 1060 ESC in and with the stock motor. But it stopped working after like 10 seconds of me driving it. The connections between the ESC and motor were really hot and the plastic covering them got so hot that it started to melt a little. I have set the ESC parameters to Lipo on the receiver so I dont know why it stopped working. The motor also smelt really bad and was extremely hot. Please tell me what happened and how to fix it.
  8. Yes they do. I find Aliexpress reliable and have bought most of my parts from them. They are way cheaper and the metal parts arrived actually really quickly. Took only a week or two. The quickest by far I have ever received from Aliexpress. Take in mind, I live in Australia. Check out my video.
  9. Hummm, could be loose grub screw or something in front diffs. If that is not it, there may be something in middle gearbox.
  10. Also, does anyone know what size hex keys needed for the Outlaw, i keep stripping mine.
  11. Could be a loose grub screw or something in the front diffs. But it looked okay to me. Stock setup?
  12. Yas, Aliexpress is excellent, the prices for rear trailing arms are only $10AUD for aluminum, and you can get them in a range of colors. But the waiting time is very long. I bought the Hobbywing 1060 ESC from them and it took around 30 days to arrive.
  13. Thank you for proving me wrong, I like it when people prove me wrong and so why. But as for me, I would not get one as I am not that serious in racing it and have had no prob with the plastic chassis and it is far too expensive for me, I just rely on birthday and christmas money, lol. No job and as for the red and silver parts from Aliexpress I would highly recommend as they are the same or similar parts for the fraction of the price, just about to order them.
  14. To be completely honest with you Steve, I would not buy the carbon chassis or aluminum one. With aluminum, the chassis bends and when it does, it is completely useless and a waste of money. The plastic is just as strong in my opinion, as it has internal ribbing and bracing running along it, whereas the metal is only flat and rely's only on its metal properties to provide strength. The aluminum is way more expensive and the carbon fibre even more. For me, I would just stick with plastic. However, the aluminum parts that I would get would be the rear trailing arms, rear driveshaft, rear trailing arms holders, maybe rear links and any other bracket thing that maybe a weak point. Also if you plan on installing a way stronger servo, the steering links and front wheel holders maybe worth considering to get in aluminum. This is just about all I would get in aluminum, the rest would just be a waste of money.
  15. Yes check the grub screw, that has happened to me multiple times and I would suggest putting a little loctite on the screw to stop it coming out
