Yes I have owned a 6s kraton v2 that was much better.

some times I don't get it , I bought the typhon because poeple say it is a good and tough car.

My experience is the opposite,

I had a lot of problems with the esc cutting out the new blx 100, and I am not the only one a lot of people have, the servo is crap as the transmitter and reciever.

The shocks leak, you have to buy a adjustable motor mount or drill the stock one because the pinion and spur mesh is to tight.

After 2 packs I broke a front and rear suspension arm the are weak never on a rc car I broke an suspension arm, and most of the time I run tamiya cars, and I did the same stuf with the typhon.

the plastic balls from the rod end wear quick so you have to replace those.

I had a lot of play in the wheels.

also the power module did not fit good there was a differrance in height between the pinion gear and the power module so when put together there was a lot of strain on the bearings and the car did not roll smooth.

then I had very poor runtimes on a 3s 5200mah lipo  I got 8 to 10 minutes runtime, with the same battery pack I my rock rey with a bigger motor and almost the same speed I get 20 to 25 minutes of runtime.

so if you buy the car, you have to buy a new servo,esc ,motormount,rpm arms,alloy balls, and do something on the shocks

save your self the trouble

no one 😂, but that is because I had a bad experience  with the 3s blx typhon.

The avante/egress I would never buy they are to fragile and expensive and parts to.

If you want to buy everything from uk stores and only tamiya hopups then your options are limited ,even with other brands then tamiya.

For me, I live in the netherlands I always have to buy from shops in germany or china or ebay, the local shops do not have parts  for tamiya or ask 3 times the price for a part.

The only thing now with this corona crisis is, parts stock is getting low, and shipping  cost at  rc mart  are very high at this moment and the time that the parts arrive is months so I stop ordering from them for now.

there are high quality 1/10 kits but most of them are race car kits form brands like tekno, losi , xray, serpent and more , you can bash with them but they are not cheap.

for me it is a surprice that you can not find parts for a top force, they  are at tamico, rcmart and ebay and not that hard to find.

the top force shares a lot of parts with the ta-01/02 and df-01 models and parts are not hard to get.

parts like driveshafts and drive cups are shared with most of there models .

rc mart has some alloy parts for the df-01 that are cheap and fit the top force like a alloy motormount and driveshaft , knuckles and stuff from yeah racing. 

Waiting on shipment these days are a pain, waiting almost a month on a order from rcmart, and there is stuff in there that i need for a build.

It happened to me the first time to, I don't no why, then I tried it a few weeks later and then it worked for me, but that was a few years ago

ordered a servo on 25th january, it arrived yesterday, when I looked 2 days ago my order was still on pending.

normaly they ship in a few days and then getting a tracking code, this is the first time it was going this way

It has something to do with the new year, and they closed the  post offices because of the corona viris, the post offices are open now but they only are open for a limeted time a day from what I have read about it.

until yesterday I never used a hosting site, 2 days ago I joined this forum, so yesterday I made a flickr account to post pictures on this forum, for me no big deal.
