  1. It seems like they discontinued the rock rey, I hope they still sell spares for them, but for now I still can find a lot of parts or aftermarket parts for the car.
  2. I have the rock rey kit version, but they do not sell them anymore I was lucky that the kit version popped up on a german website for €250, but I really like the car. It is a very tough car, run about 30 packs trough it now and not broke a thing and nothing is worn so it is very durable, running a castle 1415 2400kv motor on 3s But you have to do some necessary upgrades to run it on 3s without breaking the drivetrain, you have to buy an alloy front bulkhead the plastic stock one has to much flex and then the ring and pinion gear can skip, the same goes for the third member buy an alloy one or you ring and pinion gear skip and get stripped. And you have to do a bigger bolt mod on the diffs, the bolts on the diffs are to thin and just snap of, I have bought the exotek alloy diff cups they have thicker bolts in them but you have to drill the holes of the ring gears and spur to fit the thicker bolts, but that was an easy job with a little ball mill that I used, you can also use the stock diff cups and use thicker and longer bolts from traxxas, or gpm makes also alloy diff cups, there is a lot info to find on other forums. Spent about 100€ on the upgrades other then these the car is stock.
  3. That is a lot of weight for the little 3652 motor, poor little thing, lucky motor you released it from suffering😁
  4. Maybe a losi rock rey axle wil work, but If you have to buy all the parts it is not cheap, why not sell the outlaw and buy something stronger like a losi rock rey, it has the look of the outlaw, I love my rock rey with some upgrades it is a tank very durable, I have the kit version, run about 30 packs trough it with a casle 3670 motor on 3s and not have a single thing broke or worn on it ,and I also have done high jumps with it.
  5. The stock 100blx esc Is just a piece of crap, had a lot of problems with it , super low runtimes 8 minutes on a 5200mah 3s , and shuts it self down a lot of times, I can't believe that they still sell cars with them in it and never fixed the problem, a lot of people have problems with them, and it is allmost 2 years ago when I had mine arrma typhon.
  6. Very nice, I like to hear how the car is , 😁tempted to get one myself
  7. My first option was the triton, but then I saw some guys on youtube breaking steering knuckles and poping off shock caps that has put me of the triton and bought the jumpshot instead, the jumpshot is more expense but you can get a lot of aftermarket parts for it, integy has almost every part for them in alloy maybe not the best quality but stil stronger then stock plastic parts. For the triton there are only the stock parts no hopups.
  8. I have the new HPI jumpshot mt flux v2 that has metal gears, very funny car to drive, the only thing I have done is put an wheely bar on it and the bumper of the sct model, changed the spur gear to 32pitch but that is not an necessary upgrade, its just me I do not like 48pitch in a basher car. https://www.modelsport.co.uk/product/hpi-jumpshot-mt-flux-1334545
  9. this one or the older version that looks like this https://www.hobbywing.com/goods.php?id=372&filter_attr=0
  10. Painted and put decals on a fresh body for my tamiya ta-03rs and put a new set of wheels and tires on it, looks much better now
  11. it is in their shipping list Vereinigtes Königreich: 22,00 €
  12. https://www.modellbau-berlinski.de/rc-fahrzeuge-und-zubehoer/autos-und-zubehoer/elektro-offroad/22s-kundn-2wd-sct-brushless-rtr-mit-avc-1_10
  13. Good to here that it has worked out for you and that it is much better as the max 10, what I allready said the 3652 can motors are just to smal for a car that big and with that weight, today I testdrive my rustler 4x4 with an 3665 can in it instead of 3652 can and it is a beast now a lot of torque and better temps.
  14. Looks good with the hobbywing sct combo in it and it fits, Have you run it jet?, I like to hear how it goes and if the temps are better then the max10 combo
  15. Run the Hpi jumpshot mt for the first time today on the beach, run 2 6000mah 2s packs trough it, really like the car I am happy with it, it handles very nice and was a lot of fun to drive, and it jumps a lot better then the tamiya wt-01 truck it replaced.
  16. the razer ten combo is just a hobbywing rebrand, I have them myself and they are good and you can program it with a hobbywing card.
  17. If you geting tired off the front flips you can so this hopup
  18. For me it is the same, I prefer the 1/10 scale over the bigger scale cars, I had a arrma kraton, Basher sabertooth and a Basher 1/8 scale monstertruck but never run the cars that much so I sold then, for me they are to big bulky and not so easy to carry if you do not have a own a car like me, I only have a 50cc scooter. And the thing that also put me of was the shorter runtimes then the 1/10 scale, if you want decent runtimes you must invest in big and expensive batteries on a 1/8 scale, I am more happy with my Losi rock rey and ruster 4x4 and my other cars that I run on 3 or 2s then the 1/8 scale cars, and I can buy more cars for the same money😁
  19. Oke thought you want one for your outlaw😜, preserve you for buying an expense combo and waste a lot of money
  20. The 1412 motor is 62.5mm long maybe to long for the outlaw, hobbywing has a xerun 3660 that is sensored but also 62mm long, I don't know how much room you have in the car, but to be honest why put a expense sensored combo in the outlaw, I only run sensorless and can run really slow with it I even compared it with a sensored motor but it was not a big differance, maybe in a crawler or race car is sensored the way to go, but for the outlaw I think it is a waste of money.
  21. That is a new one for me, like it more options to choose, I love my castle motors.
  22. the 1406 is about 50mm long and the 1410 3800kv sct is 52.4 if have them both they are good motors, but if you want one for you outlaw these are to small, castle do no have a 3660 can motor only bigger, I have a1415 2400kv in my rock rey but that is like a3670 motor 70mm long
  23. Oke thats a good price, over here the brushless triton cost about 270 euro thats £231
  24. Finished the rebuild of my new hpi Jumpshot, changed some stuf, put in a better servo, change the 48p spur gear for a 32P, put thicker oil in the diff. I a have used the front bumper of the sct model because the mt does not have one, and put an wheely bar on it to protect the body. swapped out the esc, motor, transmitter and reciever, it now has a castle 3800kv 1410 motor in it with a hobbywing max 10 esc, not that the hpi motor and esc are bad they are just rebrand hobbywing, but I allready had the motor and esc and the plan is to sell the hpi esc and motor as a new set to reduce the cost of the car, the Brushless version had a metal gears and the brushed has not thats why I bought the brushless version .
  25. Brushless triton cost more then £200, I just bought a brushless losi 22s sct truck that is a very nice car for £227
