  1. Thanks ~ It's my Golf R estate. 😁 I tried out a new product I got called Autoglym Rapid Aqua Wax and it works really well. You just wash you car as normal with shampoo, rinse off and then whilst the car is still wet spray some of the "Rapid Aqua Wax" on to the panels. Then use a microfibre cloth to spread it out evenly and then use a separate microfibre cloth to buff to a shine. Really simple and a lot less work than normal waxes to apply.
  2. Welcome aboard. Check out the clubs and meets sub section to see if anyone is local to you etc would be the best bet. Good luck.
  3. Thank you. If the weather is okay I'm hoping to take it for a run next weekend. Fingers crossed.
  4. Made some progress on my Infraction drag build after months of waiting for a custom TP Power 4080CM 2900KV motor. Cannot wait to finally get it running but still need to set up the XLX2, tidy some more wires, calibrate it all and then I can get out with it. More info and pictures in my build thread here:
  5. Did some more work on the Infraction this afternoon (well yesterday now as I post this). Decided to remove the Scorched carbon fibre side plates as just not needed on the build so in order of weight saving I thought it was worthwhile removing them. Plus I'll sell them on for some cash back towards what I've spent so far. Weight of the Scorched Parts carbon side parts, plus some plastic pieces and all the screws (x17 M3 in total) to hold it all together added up to 145.36g so that brings the total weight loss I have achieved so far with parts removed to 377.71g. Motors all wired up now and fitted my XLX2 although I've still some tidying up before I can turn it on. Progress made though. Oh and I forgot to mention that I de-anodized my motor mount & chassis brace bar ~ surprised nobody asked about that.
  6. No I haven't. Prefer putting my time into the UK thread I started but could always show a few pictures on there of course. 😉
  7. I might bring it up if I still have space in the car. I've bought my own gazebo this year and it's massive so going to take up a fair bit of the room I have in the boot, even in an estate.
  8. I hope not. Most expensive RC motor I've ever bought and only did it in a moment of madness (at least that's the story if my Mrs ever finds out & asks). Definitely got some length to it that's for sure, ...just glad there is plenty of space in the Infraction chassis for such motors. Hopefully going to be fun running it.
  9. @PraetoR many congratulations to you both and the best of luck planning the big day.
  10. Been stalled for a while whist I waited for my custom TP Power motor I ordered to be made and delivered. Well last week it finally arrived with Onyx Power Solutions and I received it the other day. It's a custom 2900KV "4080CM" so should be an absolute monster engine ~ literally have no idea exactly as the 4080 is still a brand new motor for TP and I don't know of anyone with a 2900KV CM version. Also got a new 45T lightened Mod 1 gear from RW Racing as well as one of his 18T gears so that will be my initial gearing. The aluminium plate you can see under the motor in the last picture is a motor support I just quickly fashioned to help support the motor at the rear end as it is very long. I have some soldering to do on my ESC for the build as well as some wires to make up but once that's all done then hopefully can see what it will do.
  11. Don't live there now but know some parts of North Yorkshire as was born in York. Welcome aboard @LunsfordRich.
  12. Yep lot's being cut down here locally in South Wales for new home developments etc. Ridiculous, disgusting and enraging. Then you get the idiots who will then say; "well it's okay they're planting one million new trees", ...where over half of those probably won't even reach full maturity and it will be decades before the ones that do make it to maturity will even contribute to the health of the planet as much as the ones previously cut down. ☹️ That's definitely random @LunsfordRich.
  13. Excellent job @oodboo . Very well done indeed. ❤️
  14. Losi Super Baja Rey 2.0 RTR for sale (reluctantly). Fantastic live axle truck in a huge scale. 55mph on 8S batteries out of the box. Will do upwards of 65-70mph+ with larger pinion gear. Comes with original box, instructions, remote control as well as some spares (original Losi diffs, screws, spare body fittings & more) and fitted upgrades. Has Scorched Parts titanium front skid plate, Scorched Parts carbon fibre rear chassis braces, Skookum RC roof skids, GPM aluminium diff cups (front/centre & rear @£24ea), custom mudguards front and rear with flaps as well as some other nice modified/painted touches. Below: GPM upgrade aluminium rear diff just serviced with fresh 500K CST oil the other week. Picture below of the worst damage to the shell I could find ~ caused by flipping over and has slightly crumpled the body shell as can be seen. Tyres all in great shape: two on back never used. All diffs serviced: running 500K CST oil in front/rear with 2million CST centre. Shock oils done last year so still fresh. The body I shoe glued to help protect it from splits/cracks and it does have some marks, scratches etc as is a used RC truck so has been rolled over but it has not been abused. It is well loved and has been cared for. Please examine the pictures carefully as they form part of the description. RRP currently for one of these trucks new is £950+ so grab a bargain at the MSUK asking price of £700 O.N.O including delivery and PayPal Goods fees (it is for sale elsewhere for more money). Please note if you would like to collect this from Caerphilly area, South Wales you're more than welcome and I will include (x2) lipo batteries on agreement of the price. Any questions or offers just ask. Genuine reason for sale as need cash injection for real car bills.
  15. Yes I did ask if it was available as a roller in my first message but I was also happy to buy complete hence why I asked if it had the remote. You didn't even respond to my message to let me know. My last message 11/12/2021 at12:36 "Definitely interested in this as is someone else I believe. If you could let me know if it is still available that would be great. Thank you." Again which you didn't respond to. Either way a moot point now. Just bad manners to not even reply. 💩
  16. Are you joking? Honestly you shouldn't be allowed to run a for sales thread on here unless you are going to keep up with responding to interested buyers/members as well as updating. I wanted to buy this but after no response from my PM nor my post in here I ended up buying one from Facebook. @gib2210 was also interested but he also got no response. @Nick sorry to post in this thread my frustration.
  17. Silly little cheap mod done to my Losi SBR 2.0, ...chicken wire window "nets".
  18. @Redback I'm not going to the "Speed Frenzy" unfortunately as just didn't want to spend the cash on it just now. Might consider the one in April though but still mulling it over.
