  1. You're more than welcome and hope you enjoy the forum. ☺️
  2. If you hover your cursor arrow over the Ops username you will see that you can send him a private message, ...I believe an alert will go to his private email that way so you're more likely to get a response. FYI ~ The Op (TehMarchant) hasn't been on here in over 6 months now according to his profile page (Last visitedOctober 13, 2018).
  3. I don't think necessarily one way or the other has any benefit over the other but I decided for my 6S that I just wanted a single battery. For me I didn't want to be faffing around with two batteries. Happy with my choice.
  4. If you like Arrma @jezp come and take a look at the Arrma forum for more info on specific models including the new models available. ?
  5. Exactly plus if you scaled this stuff to 1:1 scale the height these things are jumping and landing from would be insane. ?
  6. Why use the forum at all then?! ? Nice helping each other out I think when we can. ?
  7. If you're trying to get parts cheaper then you're best off imo keeping an eye on eBay for vehicles being broken up for spares. There are a few companies that I've seen doing that on eBay.
  8. It's a spur gear, ...just remove the old one, replace with the new one (swap over carriers if it has one) and adjust the motor pinion gear to mesh nicely with the new spur gear.
  9. How did you do that? Did you not have the pinion gear and spur gear meshed up correctly?
  10. Have you tried Modelsport UK as they seem to have good stock on a lot of parts for the Big Rock: https://www.modelsport.co.uk/arrma-rc-electric-models/rc-car-manufacturers/1274/9900/990010&ChassisID=1892
  11. I used to have a Hubsan X4 Pro H109S and I had a pretty bad crash with that whilst flying in a valley. I was on a new (fully charged) Lipo flying around up at maybe 100-150 metres as I had been earlier the same day. I decided to bring the quadcopter down a bit but it seemed to hold it's altitude rather than start coming down. After 60 seconds or so I got a low battery warning on my controller so I shut down the camera in an attempt to preserve some more battery power (the camera has it's own battery but the 3 axis gimbal used power from the drones Lipo). The wind at high altitude as well as updrafts must have been much stronger than I realised as my battery depleted much faster than I have ever experienced with the drone before. I managed to bring it down to about 20-25 metres from the ground before the motors just shut down and it dropped like a stone. ? No footage saved from the crash but this was earlier footage taken on the same day before the crash to show the valley I was flying it in. The damage was as follows; Lipo battery (£75/$98), body shell (£41/$54), landing gear legs (£19/$25), LED lampshade (£5/$6), camera & gimball lead (£5/$6) and battery door (£?/$?) so around the £145/$190 mark. I kept the cost down though by repairing the body shell using epoxy, ignoring the broken LED lampshade and repairing the battery door. I had another two batteries so just accepted the loss of my third which I didn't replace. R/c can be an expensive hobby at times but the rewards and enjoyment I think makes it all worth while.
  12. You're welcome @Cammy555 and glad you got it sorted. ☺️
  13. As said above check/measure linkages. Ensure on the servo the linkage arm bars are in the correct holes etc. Also one of your front tyres is on the rim/alloy the wrong way. You can tell by the tread pattern direction.
  14. Now sold thank you. ? Mods/Admin you can now lock this thread or delete whenever you're ready. Thank you for the use of the forum FS area.
  15. Available on eBay here for ease of purchase: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Arrma-Senton-6S-CVD-driveshafts-front-steering-block-AR330187-Typhon-AR310587/323729288421?hash=item4b5fc4ece5:g:ppYAAOSw19NchBSS
  16. Very nice. Wheelie good job (pun intended). ☺️
  17. @targetingxmod you're still running a centre differential then? I run a centre spool as do most other speed runners that I've talked to about this. Also I didn't realise you were running 1/5th scale tyres. They look great, ...do you know what sort of speeds they are rated to? I run GRP's myself which are a belted tyre and are rated for speeds well above 100mph.
  18. Never heard of them. Depends how serious you're about R/c I guess, ...I don't have money to burn and definitely don't earn a lot but I'd rather spend more money on a decent R/c brand then spend a little on an unknown R/c brand only for it to disappoint meaning I'd be out of pocket for something that doesn't fit what I was after. It could well be a cheap, fun buggy but what are they like for getting spares if it breaks? Have you searched Google/YouTube for any reviews yet? That could be telling.
