  1. Here's a picture of my Trx4m bronco out on the hill near my house for a bit of trail driving. Quite impressed again. Eventually stopped here.
  2. Great fun playing in a 💩 load of mud👍
  3. That looks an amazing place to take the rc trucks👍
  4. Had the Trx4m bronco out today. For trail driving I think the stock gearing may be better. I'm going to give it a test soon. The lower ratio gears are definitely better for crawling. Quite a durable little truck. Ended up driving it through water, usually end up that way no matter how much I say I won't do it.
  5. @Stormbringer It fell off lots of times trying to get back up. Here's a short video of it tumbling down a hill. Rolled down quite a few hills today, no damage. Pretty durable the Trx4ms. Got ruffled up off the dogs a bit.
  6. Took out the little Trx4m bronco for some trail driving. I walked past a fallen tree a few times and wondered if the crawlers would go up or down it. The high stock gears are probably better for trail driving.
  7. Came in six days, pretty quick. All of the wheels I've bought are from Injora, quality and good price.
  8. Two sets of 1.9 beadlock wheels, both black. One set are the steel stamped deep dish. I like those because they're like the steel wheels I put on my off roaders. The other set are black aluminium six spokes. A 5 slot 550 motor for one of the crawlers. A waterproof receiver box for £1.55, bargain! And some magnetic body mounts for the hard body builds.
  9. Tawny owl strike in the garden. Looks like it got something. Had seen a rat so hopefully it's nailed that.
  10. Usually think about selling them. And then put most of them in the spare / store room. I'm always chuffed when I go looking for spares for a build and there's a good choice, especially crawler parts for me. I've sold a few over the years and regretted it. Depends on how much they mean yourself. Some RC's you know you want rid.
  11. @Stormbringernice👍 I've always thought unimogs are cool 👍😎
  12. If you were building it up completely from Injora parts you could get the wrangler looking body to keep cost down, only about £20. The traxxas bodies are really good looking. I had to buy the k10 pretty much just for the body, not worth buying body only.
  13. I agree, when you take into consideration the cost of the body alone it's worth buying the truck you want and then get the upgrades.
  14. I bet that's quite capable. No doubt a good price knowing ftx and good parts backup. The tyres look like the jconcepts rupture pattern.
  15. Got mad with the Injora lcg chassis for my Trx4 and pulled it to bits.
  16. @Stormbringer Thanks mate 👍.
  17. Here's my trx4m fleet.... The bronco and k10 are traxxas bought and the rest are mainly Injora. The defender is traxxas body everything else Injora. The jeep and tarantula are both all injora. If anyone is interested I'll put the full specs for each one in individually.
  18. Traxxas tyre on injora steel wheel using the brass ring in the link above. They are a bit more expensive than the injora wheel brass rings but far cheaper than the Traxxas part.
  19. @Gaz! https://www.injora.com/products/injora-35g-pcs-brass-inner-rings-for-1-18-trx4m-1-0-stock-tires-4-4m-23 The link above is for brass beadlocks for traxxas tyres on the injora steel wheels. ive got some, they work absolutely fine.
  20. Picked up this Reximex pretensis. Loving the laminated stock. Shoots really nice, considering it's not a high end rifle.
  21. The stock gear are reasonably durable for what they are. I've broken a rear shaft. The Injora diff gears are pretty cheap with loads of option. For what they cost I think they are well worth and builds a very tough drive train. Definitely don't right off the little Trx4m.
  22. I've built a few Trx4m's built completely from Injora parts. The issues I've had are with the servo hitting the bonnet / frame on the tarantula. That can be fixed with a different servo. Or do some chopping/ modding of the bonnet / frame. I've got the lay down servo mount to try, don't know if that will cause any problems (been busy with 1/10 stuff at the moment) The axles I've built have gone together really nicely, lovely and smooth. I did try using a different brand of hubs and heavier knuckles I bought from modelsport (neus racing I think). They will not work with injora shafts. The flange on the inside of the hub is a little deeper. I haven't used the 9mm hexes but have tried the 2-3mm longer hexes with no issues with Injora wheels and I've got quite a few sets. I have the injora wheels to take traxxas tyres, they work fine. Any issues I've had, I've contacted injora and they have always been good.
  23. I'm pretty sure there is a a group that go out with the crawlers / trail trucks. Have a look on Facebook if you have it. It might be called north west crawlers or something similar. I've been out with them in the past, good bunch👍
  24. Done some more to my scx10 hard body build. Have been waiting for a few parts. Had to use a stock axial scx10 chassis as the carbon chassis had the front end shortened, so there was not enough room to fit a 540 size motor. The small brushless outrunner fits but I'm more than likely use this as a trail truck and drown it and cover it with mud. I don't think the rhino esc isn't waterproof. Probably going to use a 550 brushed motor and a 1080. I've drowned that setup loads and it doesn't care. The injora forward gearbox driveshaft to the transfer box was too short, I contacted them about this, and they said it was because I didn't use an injora chassis. I thought they were a straight copy of the axial chassis. So I had to buy another driveshaft for that. Still need to do a few more bits. I don't like the gap between the body and front bumper, so that's getting sorted one way or another. Side plate thingys might get swapped for some steel rock sliders. And probably a good few scale accessories.
  25. If I do remove the anodising I'll probably use matt lacquer. I've done it before and it's turned out quite good. It's either that or an excuse to get some more wheels.
