  1. Tyres on. Looks so much better now. The larger size really does work well on this.
  2. Nice. Time to build some new wheels then
  3. 6s is taking it easy. Go 8s for some real fun.
  4. I'd say get some spare wheel nuts. Has a tendency to lose them. Ifbykur changing wheels at some point. Get the SSD ryft hubs and sort the issue out. Again I agree with a rear sway bar set. I'd also lock the rear diff and drop in some heavy diff oil in front and middle. I run 2mill oil in my diffs. Makes a massive difference to it. I run my one on 3s and it's got tons of power. 4s is pushing on the insanity level switch. Fun but tricky to control. I'd also get a bag of rod ends as spares. The front lower links tend to kill them. The stock servo isn't very powerful so a better one is a good choice when you can. Other then that. Give it some abuse and enjoy it.
  5. Well eBay trailing arms ordered. New servo on its way as stock one is next to useless. Next up is a better Servo saver. And some better wheel's/Tyres.
  6. Not had the chance to try it fully locked. But with an open front I think the steering is slightly better. Generally everyone who has a ryft says to go fully Locked. Or upgrade diff cups and gears and run a high weight oil to semi lock it.
  7. Rear for my one is a treal one I got at the SST event in September. I was thinking of going the same way with a front open diff. But this is cheaper and easier at the moment. See how it goes with them all locked. Can always upgrade the front to open again at some point
  8. So took the ryft apart after it's run on Tuesday. One diff had died completely. Almost no teeth left on the gears. So used a Christmas voucher for to order a couple of SSD lockers. Ordered yesterday and they arrived first thing this morning. Amazing stuff from rcbitz as always. A box of scale stuff a mate posted on the 20th also arrived this morning. Crazy stuff from the royal mail. This afternoons job is fine lockers and swap the servo for a better option.
  9. I locked the rear diff. And use 2 million diff oil in center and front. Works well for me.
  10. One full set of bully 2 wheels. Vented. No hubs. £40 all in and will happily swap for other rock crawler parts
  11. Need it gone now guys. £700 with both sets if battery packs.
  12. I'd check with him before I put any parts in. Let him know your happy to get it running again. But you want to be sure he is happy for you to do it and cover the costs if he wants it back. Then if he is. Take it apart. Clean it up and grease everything needed. Check over it all. Adjust suspension if needed to run on road. Drop some new wheels on it. And don't run a lipo on it. As I doubt the ESC will be take one. Best double check that maybe. And see how it goes
  13. I have seen a scam going around where people manage to put a fake fee sticker on your post. Just pointing it out. Had it myself. Parcel said I had £65 fees to pay. Called up to pay it. Got told it was only £25 and they had no idea why my parcel said 65. **** knows how they do it. But if they can scan people they will
  14. I'd be searched for the official sheets on line to see what the real ones look like for import fees as that doesn't look real to me.
  15. I use pla tough for tons of RC parts and have no issues with them. Some on my sporty have been abused for well over 6 months and still going strong with hardly a mark.
  16. Will post for the right offer. Or make an offer for it. I need it gone to fund my Viking cove Rc project.
  17. And we are done just about. New wheel ideas to print and hangers for my 5mm tungsten weights. And a few little bits to change
  18. So then. The br mini dual ESC is all fitted and set up. Motors are in and wired up. Servo is now with the royal mail. So fingers crossed with me this week. So the car is very almost done now.
  19. Some slow progress on this. Got some parts printed in pa12 from weerg to test the quality. Spot on so will be using them again. Made progress on a lot of my ideas for part's. I launched my page on Facebook. Viking cove RC. Feel free to have a look. It's my home for all my parts I'm making. My herja chassis. My wheels. The items I design and print for people. And weight hangers for all sorts of car's. As for the Herja chessis. Not much to say. It's been running Nicely all year. And now with the nicer parts from weerg it's all set to go live. Once I can get a bunch made that is. Got a small run of my wheels being made. Available in a month ish.
  20. Hello guys. I have my x-mass for sale to fund my Viking cove RC range of parts. The x-maxx hasn't been used much at all. Maybe 10 runs. If that. It's stock other then the max6 ESC. Shock covers. And rpm hubs front and back. Shell was taped and glued from new. Slight damage to the tail but nothing major. No damage to the car. It runs well. I added lights front and rear to help keep track of the car as it's flying across the sky. I can include a set of 4s batterys for this I got last year from hobbyking. Still in perfect condition as hardly been used. And I can offer a set of rhino 4s lips to for an extra £60. Car will be sold without Rx/tx as I used my dx4s and need to keep it. Feel free to ask me anything about the car. I'm in Gloucester and I'd rather it was picked up so you can see it first. I'm open to offers on it. But no trade's at all sorry as I need to funds to help cover the cost of a CNC machine. Probably my favourite car I have owned but I need to fund vcrc now. So it's got to go. Cheers guys. Feel free to message me about it and for more pictures and information I'm after £800 including a set of 4s lipos from hobbyking. I am open to offers but not swaps. Cheers guys
