  1. Really nice and helpful stuff shared here for the beginners.I also got help form this post. But i also have a question here..........................Hi all, I am new to RC boats but not new in RC cars, trucks, and heli's. My "Rc Electric Boats 'Targa' version 38 EP 2.4GHz RT SKU: DY8951" is spinning and I'm wondering how to prevent that. Tthe boat is screaming fast but it is spinning the teflon tube now in the brass tube. If I re-grease again will it stop or do I need a new one? Any suggestions are appreciated. Regards. Andy.

The Traxxas will be fine for strictly bashing but if you want a good handling car you should look into an SC10RS. It's a great beginner car and comes brushless out of the box and with a 2.4 radio. The SC10 may be a bit more fragile but it is the best handling short course truck without a doubt. The 2wd Slash has a weird chassis design that has a high center of gravity. The car handles funky and jumps goofy. Regards. Andy.
  3. Thats actually a great buggy to start out with. Very Stable, Very Durable and easy to work on. That was my first race worthy buggy 3 years ago and I was very happy with it. Save up and get some better servos as soon as you can. Hitech has some great servos for about $50-60 that would be perfect. Regards. Andy.
