  1. Hi folks, I'm struggling to find the exact replacment for one of the connectors that broke in my speed passion motor. All the ones I can find are too thick or way too long. If someone could point me to the right place on the Modelsport site or any other I'd really appreciate the help, thank you. Cheers, Mark
  2. Thanks for the links Chewbacca, looks like the only guide is in the USA, this model must have sucked in Europe, nothing local on it at all, but I've had no end of fun with it over the years, as the tyres show, lol! ..... 53HRA If you can turn some up I'd really appreciate it, I'm planning a shelf queen type look but I'm planning to still run the car by keeping these old parts, it's a drift toy without the need for drift slicks, it spends its time spinning up the rear,
  3. Hi guys, time for this car that's been in my family since the day it was bought in the 90's to have a restoration. Please could anyone reply with contacts, URL's or links to where I could track down wheels, tyres, body shell and instruction guide? Everything else is working and sound but the tyres are ragged ,,, mainly by me, whoops!! The wheels with the nut mount on the inside are the rears. Thanks in advance. Mark

It's actually a late 1980's early 1990's (I can't remember the year my brother bought it, it's an age thing, lol) Kyosho Nissan Fairlady that I have and thinking about a restoration, it runs but things like wheels and tyres could be replaced and the bodyshell but even searching for it online, let alone source bits is hard :)

  5. Hi folks, so is this the place for this pic then? I've done a complete strip and rebuild, this is the before shot. I will take some now it's been rebuilt if folks like it .... I've now uprated all the bearings, swapped to an ESC, 2 RS540 tuned motors If this is the vintage section as well, , if anyone has some clues on where I could source some parts for a 1980's Kyosho Nissan Fairlady Z, she could do with some new wheels and tyres? Will post pics if people would like to see her as well, lol Cheers, Mark
  6. Thank you for the warm welcome folks, and Carpmart apologies for the definition of old, that's what the kids say I am
  7. I live over in Sturry near Canterbury
  8. Thanks gents, I'm looking forward to getting stuck in again
  9. Thank you for the really useful advice and links mate, I'll digest over the next week or so as I strip them back to nuts and bolts Cheers, Mark
  10. Hi everyone, I've recently purchased two Bullheads, one for me to upgrade, the other for my partners son to do. I've been out of RC for a fair few years so lots of changes and I'd appreciate some advice if you wouldn't mind. I plan to dump the old Tamiya speed controller in favour of an ESC and prob change out the std 540's. I'm looking to get the best duration from playing with them so if you have the model or it's Clodbuster brother I'd appreciate feedback on what battery pack to upgrade to, alongside which ESC to marry to what motors? (I've never owned a twin motor model before) If anyone knows of sites that sell any upgrades as a pack then I'm happy to buy as one set rather than seperate components? Thanks for the advice and feedback. Cheers, Mark
  11. Afternoon gents, thanks for the welcome
  12. Evening all, I've been out of RC for many years with an OLD Kyosho Fairlady ZX that I still have and an old Ford Lightning, my partners son has got me back into the game though many things have changed since :) I've done a strip down rebuild, ball raced, changed the wheels tyres and body of the Lightning this week and also bought the two Bullheads off E-bay so that I can restore one and he can customize the other. I'm 39years old this year hence the username, visited the modelshows at alexander palace over the last couple of years and after the Bullheads will prob look to do a truck of some desc, looking forward to meeting new people and hopefully contacts to help me track down some parts for the older Kyosho. Cheers all, Mark
