normally i would go on ebay and see what the prices are for your kind of savage then just go from there.

ok guys i know its bit late now but wondered which pension provider you all use? my company is using peoples pension. i am trying to get one with good return.

If it's a work place pension then I think your employer picks the provider however you should be able to pick the funds that they invest into. I'd suggest a work place due to the tax benefits and the fact your employer has to make a legal contribution. You can also merge multiple work places pensions if you change job as well. My favourite I've been with is Aviva mainly because they have a nice app 🤣

awesome! cheers mate, just trying t sort my pension out before its too late.
i have always been slow on sorting things out, so far i only have 1500 in my oension and compare to other people i have asked at work, they all have at least 40k, when asked how they got hat much, they simply said they have been putting their spare cash into it manually.

i have only upgraded mine 2 years ago but i really wouldnt mind doing another build, maybe AMD?

that is a very nice set up although its an amd, i prefer intel. but still that set up is going to handle anything you throw at it 🙂

all i can think is get a better percent on a savings account, i have found one at 8 percent which is nationwide bank.

apologies for hijacking but i wanted to know the best way to get good returns too so few months ago i opened up a chase savings account which i got the recoomendation from @Alex97 the percenatages for the that is 4.1 a month. i dont get much money but if i can put around 150 a month in then would that be a god return? or would i need to put more in?

i am not getting a pricey one, i will be getting the 936d which is around 40 new, i think that is a good price for a station 🙂 thank you for the tips (pun not intended) keep your ideas/suggestions coming as i know i will need all the help i can get. cheers again mate

oh forgot to mention, when you recommended the pricey solder station ( hakka) i would say no as that is nearly 200 squid, as nice as it is, i cant pay that much.

apologies mate, completely missed that station link, yeah i think il get that one 🙂 that is very similar to the one i sold on here few years back. nice one bud 🙂 i think i am sorted for now but be warned everybody, i will most certainly be asking for more help when i hit a brick wall 😄 , i tend to do that alot 😄

many thanks guys 🙂 i only chose a station as it seems better for a beginner such as myself. i am really determine to master this art 😄 at this moment i dont think i will be soldering anything rc, i dont have any and not sure if i will be getting any. all i am thinking about is soldering motherboards, i know it will be harder as everything on a mobo is tiny but i am guessing once i can solder mobos then i am sure il be able solder anything rc. i can get all the rest of the bits i need such as specail wool, mats and solders, i can take the link what @m4inbrain and @Lone-wolf put up. i am just struggling to find a decent station though. there are so many out there 😞
