    ok guys i know its bit late now but wondered which pension provider you all use? my company is using peoples pension. i am trying to get one with good return.

      i have always been slow on sorting things out, so far i only have 1500 in my oension and compare to other people i have asked at work, they all have at least 40k, when asked how they got hat much, they simply said they have been putting their spare cash into it manually.

      found out that the door was slightly lowered so put the latch/keeper down abit to compensate.

      ok found my old iron.

      went into a brick wall as the saying goes.

      the solder would not stay on the tip of the iron, so had to put bit of a blob onto the points instead, even that proven difficult, put my wire to the point and tried to heat the wire to melt the solder under it, couldnt do it. so i changed my tip and the solder stayed on the tip this time so put the wire to the point and just added more solder on top.

      i know its a mess but eveything works, just need more priactice 🙂

      cheers lone-wolf, i litterally just learnt what tinning is 5 minutes before you said that from this video 😄 

       

       

      tinning is basically putting abit of solder on the soldering iron tip.

       

      would this pen do?

      also do i need to Make sure to match the flux pen with the type of flux in the solder i use? for example, If i am using rosin core solder i should use rosin flux?
