  1. it would make sense to try get more out of it. i wouldnt call it stupid, anything to do with rcs is not stupid 😄 this is my list that has popped up top of my head: savage maybe vorza but since its quite outdated then will need to find an alternative (arrma?) been looking at losi 8 nitro for awhile now so maybe that too whack a dji phantom in there too then i should be happy 😄
  2. 😄 😄 i weigh about 65 kilos but that guy must weigh at least 90 or 100 kilos 😄 but seriously though, the suspensions on these must be really good.
  3. i know its not ideal but i would like to sit on one of those 😄
  4. i would most likely get few secondhand ones to have a variety of rcs. with a grand i could buy some new ones but as most of the rcs are quite expensive, most probably could just get 2 or 3.
  5. Hey guys, could anyone recommend a decent cage thermometer for my gerbils cage please?

    Many thanks guys 🙂

I know its not what you asked for, but I just got an old fish tank and filled it with sawdust. Threw some bedding material in and they just had a whale of a time dragging it all down and you can see their little tunnel systems and rooms. Although the missus (who was away for the week) was not too pleased as said tank was 6ft x 2ft x 2ft in size. Oh well...that's what happens if you leave me on my own.

I just use the cheapo ones off E-Bay. They are accurate enough for the sort of temps I need for reptiles. I have 2 as it's important to have a temperature gradient to allow the animals to find an area to suit them. My Milk snake, for example, prefers a cooler vivarium, and only sleeps over the heat mat on cold nights. The mat has a thermostat, but I want to measure the ambient temps just above the surface. I put one towards each end.

I don't know how temperature sensitive gerbils are, but as they are warm blooded...they do have some ability to regulate their own temperatures, whereas reptiles are totally reliant on their environment.

  8. dont i already know it? i need to learn to solder so i can do awesome builds but until then i cant or wont do it 😄
  9. i have had the lunchbox, i remember that i could put a penny on the back to do wheelies 😄 i have had other tamiyas too but never built one, to be honest i have never built anything.
  10. yes i agree, their acting can be very cringey 😄 but and its a big but....their storyline can be VERY good. we have been watching series after series for the past months.
  11. yeah just googled that name and just found out you was on about Chinese jerry from walking dead 😄 i thought you was on about the other main character with his daughter. i have watched them films you have mentioned, i really like the gangster, the cop and the devil and theres another film which is very good called Confession of a murder.
  12. Is that ma ding-seok the main character from train to busan? If he is then yeah he is a great actor, we watched the goblin one as he is the main character on that too. It was because of that train to busan that we liked the zombie ones. Also the other main character on train to busan was the one we call Jerry because he reminds us of that guy from walking dead 😀
  13. one minute you are young and wild, the next you're into air fryers.

.. we just recently bought an air fryer, lol. Favourite appliance next to our espresso machine already.

I can appreciate good chips regardless of age.

  14. the OP MIGHT not be able to fix it himself so would be best to get it sorted through warranty. might aswell get their money worth,
  15. I find that air fryer is so much easier to use, also you can cook more things than a deep fryer. Chips in my opinion would be better in a deep fryer.
  16. Remembered some more: Hellbound ( people getting sent back to hell) very violent and bloody if you don't mind that Tomorrow ( grim reaper) Goblin ( again, grim reapers)
  17. So far I have put battered fish, nuggets, chips and faggots. If it fits then we use the air fryer.
  18. For the past few months we have been watching Korean series. Got some really good story line BUT obviously you will need to read subtitles, if that doesn't bother you then check them out. All of us are dead ( zombie series) Train ( parallel universe) That is all I can remember at the top of my head. Will need to find out what others are called.
  19. We have just started using one when moved to new house to try it out. It is awesome! We don't use the oven anymore 😄
  20. Hi guys, hope everyone is ok 🙂 The neu motor is still for sale and will be adding more stuff later today.

just moved in to our new home a week ago but i am struggling to use the heating system.

this house has electric boiler which i have never used before, only ever used gas boiler. everything in this house uses electric and no gas which i find very strange.

the boiler is called hercal and the radiators are called dimplex quantum:

got another problem now, there is no hot water, it did work for few days when moved in.

had a look at teh boiler and there are 2 taps, the top tap was opened but the bottom tap is closed, do i need to open the bottom tap?

i have switched the heating switch off for now as i cant find a reset button for the boiler.

  23. hi guys, hope everyone is ok 🙂

i was just wondering if you all use a torque wrench on a simple job like changing the rear shock absorbers? i am about to change the absorber in an hour.

i was hoping i could get away with it with just a normal spanner.

i havent replaced the absorber yet as when i jacked the car up and was about to remove the 2 bolts, i noticed how bad the rubber boots were so instead of reusing them, i have ordered the boots then will replace them all at the same time. makes more sense 🙂
