    Has anyone tried community WiFi? Virgin media want to up our bill to £52 a month however community WiFi is offering gigabit speeds for £32.

      @Kpowell911 I generally feel for UK RC shops that stock tamiya. 

       

      $260 (£230) including tax in Germany

       

      £330 including tax in the UK

       

      Maybe a little bit more here and there but this difference is massive!

    Has anyone had a random item show up from China? I haven't ordered anything and I'm not expecting anything however a random pair of "rayban" sun glasses have arrived. No money had been taken from my bank accounts and I've got no new orders on AliExpress ect. I've never ordered from the company on the packaging before either

      Doing some further investigation it was sent around the 20th November, at this time I was scammed by a shop in HK or Chian (bank stepped in and it's all fine). That's the only thing I've ordered from Asia other than PJ stuff.

    I've been debating ordering a new 3d printer so bit the bullet on the new BamboLabs A1 mini. Only downside is that it's not arriving until the new year ☹️

      I haven't got mine yet however 98% of the feedback I've seen has been positive and that it's just plug and play. There are so many files out there so you don't need to know how to use CAD or need a powerful PC.

    Having just spent the last  hour watching RC sand drag videos I fancy one. Only issue is there's no sand near me!

      Potentially the "official" ones can take the same but hobbywing have under rated them to stop people pushing them to their limits?

      @totlxtc is there an opt out form you can fill in so they don't deliver all the junk mail.

      No idea. All i get is Pizza delivery menus and retirement homes. Nothing else.

       

      edit: just looked. Seems a real faff. Download a form to then post it out, they look at it and then processed over 6 weeks. Have to renew every 2 years. Its easier to just pick it up and bin it in that case.

    China has really upped their game on shipping, pretty much everything I order is taking between 7-10 days. On the other hand the one parcel from the states is still on its tour of the USA 🙃

      It’s like taxis here. I had to get a taxi 12 miles and it cost £42 in the day.

      I 100% agree, I had a work trip not that long ago and the flights was less than my parking at the airport, it was only a two day trip! Admittedly I didn't fancy doing park and ride at 4am so went for the closest carpark.

      Had the same with RC Disco earlier this week. Ordered at 1pm and went to work the next day thinking it wont be till the following day and it had arrived. 18hrs from shop to door.

      Bit difficult when they include Hobbywing!  Not like there's many decent alternatives here in the UK, not like Castle are priced competitively over here, and Spektrum are a bit pants when it comes to 10th / 8th scale esc's.
