  1. Anyone running these. Just ordered from USA as no one in UK has them. I didn't want a huge pipe and filter hanging off a velocity stack on the new engine when it arrives.... Seems a good way forward for improved filtration Paul

Just ordered a new tuned g320 and in the specs the carb has the bearing mod which I know about and the choke removed....This caught my attention...Not a great deal of info about the benefits but came across a bit on a helicopter forum...!!!!!!Apparently adds over 5% more power...Can any of you experienced gassers elaborate more on this mod ? Clearly it's to do with flow rates thru the carb...Engine is a g4z Evo 32Cheers.Paul
  3. Ordered the TLR bleeder caps for the 5ive t shocks. Any tips on how much shock oil should be put in and bleeding them please. Thanks Paul
  4. Kill switch. Check oils on shocks and diffs. Check pinion gear bolt I would order some spare bladder caps for the shocks as when I checked my DNT, all shocks were only 80% full and the bladder caps were feathered so wouldn't seal. Chassis brace front and back cheap upgrade and skid plates. Diff oils...... I run 20k front, 60k middle, 10k rear. Shock oil 35wt front 45wt rear. Everybody to their own on oils Epoxy a 5p under the droop screw on each corner. Works a treat to protect the chassis. First real upgrades. Center diff gear case changed to alloy and change the center diff plastic towers out for alloy at a later date, and change the bearings out for either decent automotive bearings if you have a bearing supplier near you or team fast eddy bearing kit. Acer bearings do a hybrid ceramic bearing kit for the losi 5t which fits the DNT that I keep looking at... It's a very solid model, and the stock 29cc is actually very good. Stock Exhaust is ear splittingly LOUD bit is pretty good.

  7. Just rejoined the large scale RC scene after a number of years away with a 30 dnt. Well happy with it. I do have a question tho.. Does anyone use a dry lube on the pinion/spur gears ? I've got a can of quite expensive wurth dry chain lube left over from my motorcycling days and wondered if there is any benefit to lubing the spur gear ?   13. The fid dragon hammer is what I'm looking at getting tanveer. People say it's expensive but when a new 5t rtr is £1500 today the DH rtr is cheaper and doesn't need any chassis hop ups from the start unlike the 5t. The other thing I really like about the DH is the shell. A lot less prone to damage unlike the 5t's. Keep us updated please on how you get on with it bud. A full run review of the DH V2 would be really appreciated tanveer and if the V2 has sorted the roll over issues. I'd also add that whilst the losi 5t is a great RC, since its release in 2011 losi have appeared to sit on their hands and not improve it other than with a 29cc engine and spectrum avc.
