hi, i would go for lipo. lipos will give better run time and more punch. you can find decent lipos for the same money as decent stick packs. also i notice you in chesterfield, where do you drive?? a bunch of us usually meet up in clumber park for a good bash. (we are there tomorrow if you fancy it? we will be at the cafe on the a614 opposite the gates of clumber between 9:30 to 10, then into clumber for some fun.

hi all, big thanks for all your help on this. i have decided to buy a hpi vorza. the only reason i have gone for one of these is my mate owns a model shop, doing me a good deal on one and letting me pay it in installments. now, what batteries do you guys use?? i know it will run 6s but im not that confident yet, so ill be looking for a couple of 3s lipos and a couple of 4s lipos. i have 2 turnigy nanotech lipos for my scx10 which have been fantastic up to yet, so i would prefer these but if theres any other that you guys recommend please let me know. again thanks for all your help, gaz.

hi, decided to clearout the r/c stuff im not going to use anymore, im wanting to go 1/8th electric buggy and need to sell these to part fund it all. firstly, traxxas slash 1/16th roller will come with only the steering servo and bling wheels which are very grippy on grass and tarmac.

hi, im thinking of getting into 1/8th scale with a 4wd buggy. ive searched the internet and come up with the following shortlist, if possible owners could give me a verdict of them too please. hpi vorza flux,

buggy wheels are 2.2 have a look at ansmann or fastrax for some cheap good ones. there 12mm hex too!!

my lad is nearly 4 and he has a spektrum dx3e with a small grip ands its fine for him you can pick them up cheap enough.

have a look at the toureg propshaft. it the same cc01 chassis but longer wheelbase. cracking body though, wish i never sold mine now.......
