never seen that kit before, mmmm sems ansmann are trying to sell there own batteries then for these. mine was tiny, but just knocked up a alloy one, the biggest battery i have is 160mm so its now a tight fit but does work. thanks for your help mate, im still very new to 1/8th buggies at the moment

hi mate, no you dont, the higher the turn the less draw you have from the battery. also in a pajero i would look at least a 55t motor. the gearing in a pajero is fairly high so will still be nippy with a 55t motor, but you can pick one up for

hi richard, im a ex trucker myself and would say servonaut everytime for a euro truck! the mfu is a nice bit of kit though, does everything in one package. if you fancy a different sound, have you looked at a hilift mfu?? has diesel and v8 sound.

hi mate, just read up the full thread, i bought a mad monkey not long ago and when i first ran it, it went 3 metres and let off the magic smoke, so i tried the slipper clutch and all was well, now then i checked the diff and thats where the trouble was. firstly lift up the rear end and spin the wheels, if it feels rough or stiff its far too tight, take out the driveshaft and loosen it to the point where you can turn the wheels with a finger laid accross the tyre. build up and try that. i put a ezrun 8.5t in mine and it went like stink!!! 10.5t will work fine as would the 9t, its only 2wd and my mate (heavyleftthumb) runs one in a slash and has done for the past year and its mental!!!

could i ask, whats wrong with ansmann?? i have 2 ansmann buggies now, a mad monkey which runs a dream now i have a decent esc and a virus 2.0 brushless which is still in testing. quality could be questioned from many manufacturers NOT just ansmann. r/c is not a cheap hobby but then again nowadays is there a hobby that is cheap that gives so much enjoyment.
