Same setup as the WR8, front and rear diffs are grease filled and the centre oil filled.

Just unboxed the QRX and pleased to say the body is nowhere near as bad as I thought it was gunna be ,still not a looker but not as fugly as the website pics. First impression’s are great, I’m liking what I’m seeing so far, the tyres have a nice medium/soft compound, doubt they last long on tarmac but should be great off road, nice looking wheels, threaded alloy shocks which feel nicely setup , very similar to how the WR8’s are and a decent looking spur and pinion cover to stop any crap getting in . I’ll take a couple of size comparison pics for anyone interested once I’ve give it a once over👍🏻

I’ve not cracked the seals yet mate I’m still scratching my head trying to get the pug body to fit a chassis, so far I’ve tried always to get it to fit the XV01, XV02 and the PTG2 with no joy.

I’ve got a few l&l bodies already, three 1/10 body’s -Escort cosworth, Celica GT4, WRC Fiesta and a Lancer EVO for the WR8 . All mine are great looking body shells, thicker and more durable than Tamiya shells but with slightly less detail. Decals are nice, not quite Tamiya quality but nice looking and they’re pre-cut .

Finished the Kyosho Beetle!

A little bit of chassis work to stop any crap jamming the steering and a new motor fitted to the RS4 .

It looks terrible but I’ll probably get the green one 😂
