  1. Thanks for the advice guys. I was going to buy some new glow plugs anyway as I've only got the four and they are all dead. That car wasn't stored with one in, there is no rust and the engine turns over by hand just fine as does the transmission.
  2. Hi guys I've had my HPI MT2 Nitro sitting in storage for about two years and I'm finally readying it for this summer. The problem is that I left some fuel in the tank which has now turned to a green sludge. What is the best way to remove this? I would rather clean it out rather than buying a new tank as I have a fair list of other things that I need to get the truck going. Is there anything else I should do to prepare the motor for burning fuel over for the first time in so long? Cheers Matt.
  3. Thanks for the input guys. As for the price, the guy is asking £75, I might be able to get him down a bit. It was a kit that he build and got very little use out off.
  4. Thanks for the input and that's good to know! Unlike my Mt2, it just breaks all the time.
  5. Thanks, I do realise that they won't be the best to drive, probably due to the short wheel base, tall ride height and they do seem to like popping the front wheels up. Do you know if there is any way to get the ride height lower? My plans would be to try and get it to sit lower, get a faster steering servo and get some weight over the front wheels.
  6. Does anyone have any experience with the Tamiya Lunchbox model? How do they drive? Anything I should look out for? What mods can I do to it? One has come up for sale locally and I'm thinking about getting it as my HPI Nitro MT2 is still sitting with parts ready to go on it and it has been a general pain since day one so I'm keen to try out electric. Thanks, ~ Matt.
  7. Bump. It's gotta' go, let your biker friends (if you have any) know.
  8. Images uploaded to my PSP thread, check it out.

  9. For everything? I don't really want to give a price in case I am miles off what anyone else thinks. What are you thinking?
  10. Bump, will add pictures later today.

  12. Now that's good advice for life.
